Amount of sets for arms and shoulders?

I workout my arms and shoulders twice a week. I wanted to know how many sets I should do for each session of Biceps, Triceps, and Shoulders.

Also, I dont know if Im doing right working out shoulders twice a week. I read that you can work arms twice per week but ive never heard anything about shoulders.

    Thanks

You can work anything twice a week as long as your getting good results from it. I cant seem to recover properly doing it twice a week, but arms and legs arent a problem for some reason.

I chalk it up to too much delt activation in my chest routine.

But if I do Biceps and Triceps twice a week, do I have to do shoulders twice a week? Since my shoulders are hit pretty hard on Chest and Back day apart from having a workout of its own. And since its a pretty big muscle, i believe it should need more rest

You dont have to hit them twice a week. You dont have to do anything twice a week actually, some people do because they can get away with it. I dont think the delts need that much rest, I just have a particularly hard time hitting them twice a week. Legs are a huge muscle group and its counterintuitive that i can get away with 2 workouts a week, but it works for me.

You gotta find what works for you. If you see good results hitting those 3 muscle groups twice a week, by all means, continue to do so. Theres no one size fits all answer for it, you have to experiment.

And you work biceps with back movements, and triceps with chest movements, so your probably really working them 3 times a week. Again, if its working for you, keep at it.

I personally think your overtraining them. Like Mark said, you hit bi's with back and tri's with chest.
