Hey guy's. Recently i've been taking a lot of pre workout supplements because it always seems like i psyche myself out the second before i get to the gym and i feel like my lifts suffer from it. So i ask you, is there anything you guys do before you start lifting? Like a mental meditation or anyway to focus all your energy right before the gym so your performance improves ten fold. Thanks guys for your input.

There is no way to increase your performance that much, but just get in the right kind of mindset.. not sure how to explain it. Its just something you do.I used to lift
Now I get triggered by people's poor form while they lift heavier weights than I can

there is an array of tvs set to sports channels in my gym... when im doing warm up on the treadmill im imagining the glorious moment i win whatever sports race/tournament is on tv and everyone there is shouting my name blah blah etc.. i've noticed i tend to do this automatically without even focusing on it.. ...gets me all fired up... (day dreamer style zone-out mode i suppose)

Blast that pump up song right before you enter the gym with your hood up and head down. That's what I do. Trying to cycle off my pre workouts so I need some random things to psyche me up. Try jumping and landing flat footed the shock waves charges up your legs. In traffic yell at the top of your lunges to release and pent up energy.

For me too, music gets me hyped up before any workout
anything like:
Eminem - Not Afraid, Till I collapse
Roy Jones Jr. - Cant be touched
Skindred - Nobody
there is much more on that list, but as soon as I here this music it gets me pumped
but generally I luckily do not suffer from motivation issues, that energy gotta go somewherePlease get friends with me on BodySpace / Follow my transformation
