For me, I would not have surgery if I know it will heal 100% on its own. Having surgery is not fun, plus you always have to think about the outcome of it. Until today, my arm does not feel like it used to be prior to the injure. The surgery fixed what needs to be fixed and allows me to lift again, but it just does not feel the same.

The good thing is this Ortho is highly active and can relate to my active life.

It's a "what if" for both situations. They both will heal the same and at the same rate.

yeah last year I had rehab for right achilles and when i learned of possible rupture i always said i would just do surgery. Now that I am to this unfortunate point I have to think hard. I didn't realize then the cure time and quality of the repair would be equal.


One thing that stuck out is my heal flexibilty will be less cuz they pull the tendon back and when they do this it won't be like the original. If I let it heal on own my heal can flex or stretch better.

I'd say the old school mechanical ones are more accurate.

But grats on hitting weight. I'm getting closer to BF% that I want to get down to for my cut, but I'm going to have to go below the weight I was hoping to stay above this year.

Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised. How do you measure bf? Last time it was with calipers by my trainer friend but I don't feel like bothering him.

More important to me to use the same scale at the same time each time. More about tracking and measuring progress then suddenly being healthy or better because the number say 1 instead of 3.

I just go by one scale which is the digital scale that I have at home. That's the one I've been using to stay consistent and track my progress.

But pro-tip, if you are using two scales...just add both numbers divide by 2 and use the average weight. Let that be your weight for day/week?

LOL..It will clean out your system. Also something to think about. You can also try using a cycle support type of supps. Even though you nor I using the jooce/ph. They still come with general health support and benefits like liver, gut, blood pressure, all kinds of natural ingredients that we don't get enough even when eating veggies/fruits.
I've used one before (again never used a cycle) but to cleanse out my system and overall I felt better about my health/condition. Serious man no homo.

I say this because, IMO pre-workout supps lately has gotten much more potent that they were in the past.

so how does this work? I dont get a lot of veggies...I dont like brocoli, calliflower, green beans and etc. I know I'm suppose to eat 5 cups of veggies a day. Will this help? Just one serving per day?

It's really for people who don't eat enough veggies to be honest.

Too much fiber in your diet can fuk you up too and peeps around you since you'll be farting like crazy.

My rule of thumb...have 1 fruit (typically an apple) and 1 serving of veggies (typically brocolli) per day. Rest of my fiber comes from carb sources like oats, and russet potatos.
