Bad couple of weeks from a diet perspective, even if I've lost weight.
I have, however, started working out again, regularly. Travel + family reasons kept me from working out the past two weeks, but today I went for a great run in San Franscisco. It was delightful.
I just need to taper down my calories again, and hopefully hit my stride!
It is so hard to be good when you're traveling and going out on nice dinners. Tomorrow, I'm meeting someone for lunch at the famous One Market restaurant. Grrrr! Wish people would pick Subway instead.

Ok, finally got this one done.
Y'all are doing great and I'm so proud of everyone sticking with this week after week. I know it's not easy. The most important thing is not to give up.
We lost a lot of people off the sheet for missing weigh ins.....we're down to 101 people.
If I missed anyone or made a mistake please let me know...I had a 5 year old bugging me the whole time I was doing this. (mama, mama, mama, mama..."whattttt!" I love you the world...so cute, but doesn't lend itself to getting anything accomplished.)

Congrats to Ciscoguy. I have been trying to catch up to you but it is not working so far. And congrats to everyone else. Keep up the great work. I am curious to see what the total weight loss of the group is when we are done with this.

Ahhh I know this feel!! I've been visiting family the past couple of weeks too. Usually my diet strategy is not buying trigger foods so I won't even be tempted. Lately I've been cutting whatever's on my plate in half whenever we go out to eat by rendering the other half inedible. Salting it into oblivion, putting too much hot sauce, etc. Haha...a method to the madness I guess.“Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow.”

I had to take a break after all the insane stress in my life during that last competition. It was just terrible timing. I'm glad to see you started one up Cindy, you're an inspiration. Just great seeing a lot of the same people still at it.
I lost 20 lbs so far this month, so my journey's been rockin'. Sorted a lot of things out, and life is really good right now. I take it one day at a time and not let it be a big deal. If I have a day of over-eating? I go work it off right away.START: xxx.x | 10-6: xxx | 10-13: xxx | 10-20: xxx | 10-27: xxx | Month Total: xx

weigh in...
I went to the gym this morning and did chest and shoulders for about 90 minutes. I use the smith machine and dumbells and then a few machines. My workout was very good...now I feel the soreness even before I let go of the weight. I can see my body changing a lot. It feels hard in many places which is good. I went back to the gym after work and did the elliptical for an hour. It was good to be on the elliptical again after so many months. I'm soooo tired! Anyway, I had not seen the scale go down from 155lbs...Today, I increased the calories intake to 1400 per day. I will be doing 1400 for 2 weeks and then 1500. My main concern is that I do not want to lose my muscles so my protein intake was always higher than my carbs. I kept my protein between 120g - 140g. Carbs at 110g max. Am I doing something wrong? Once again, I'm really upset about that part of my training..what do you guys and gals think?

Do all that, and you will look as good as your genes will let you, be content as the arseholes around you will allow, and maybe get a few screws. The particular virtues of weight training are in the discipline it brings to both mind and body, and, if you do it right, it will make you look good naked and do well what you got your clothes off to do." Weigh in : 202.4 - Happy Friday everybody! - Increased calories this week to actually slow myself down and it worked....which pissed me off LOL.
I'm getting really impatient and ready to see my weight drop below 200, looks like another week and a half and I'm there.^^Former 400+lb Crew^^

Jun 1 - Aug 31 Fat Loss Comp:
6-1: 323.4 | 6-8: 326.4 | 6-15: 321.6 | 6-22: 323.2 | 6-29: 317.2
Well, down 7 lbs on the competition as a whole. my weight fluctuates like crazy, I was at the docs office on Wed and the official weight was 324, def not likely to have dropped 7 lbs in 4 days of actual weight. Im drinking a lot of water.iced tea throughout the day.
Also started taking ECA on Mon and will continue that for the month. I am drinking tea in lieu of the caffeine pills though for a more natural caffeine. Today will be my first day back in the gym since this Sunday when I injured myself while doing insanity basketball drills (lower back). I was decent enough by wed but Id rather give it an extra day and take no chances, just cut down my calories for those days.

I haven't been on here much to post since I went back to work but my diet is still going strong and I'm still making it to the gym. I'm only losing a tiny bit each week but at least I'm losing and not gaining. I must say that now that I have made it a month into the diet, it is really getting easier and easier. Also, I'm at the point of needing to up my weights at the gym because I'm starting to get comfortable. Monday I'll be upping my weights by 10lbs.ACE Personal Trainer
