Rouge Bar write up!! "NOT TO GOOD" time will tell!

I have had my bar now for about a month, Today I notice it wasn't spinning as well as when I first got it, so I brought it home and took off the collars to clean and lube.

Taken the collars off was very easy 2 C-clamps and it's off. When I took off the first clamp and removed the the cap I saw A lot of brass flakes not a good sign!

once the collar was off I inspected the bushings and all was well very smooth and no marks or dents, but inside the collar was also filled with brass shavings! I ran a rag through it a few times and it cleaned up very well,

After everything was said and done collars back on and spinning smother now then when I first received it...

I will hold judgment until next month when I reinspect the collars. This could just be a manufacturing thing to rushed to clean away the shavings if so not to big a deal.. update in 1 month.

whats your split like? cuz at the crossfit gym i lift at they have rogue bars (pretty sure) and they get lifted on every day and i haven't noticed any difference in their spinning... granted they may do maintenance on the side to them, but i haven't noticed any difference at all in the 4+mo i've been there

I use the bar 4 days a week but lift 6. I don't think it's from the bar being used and breaking down. I do believe it was just not cleaned between the milling of the collar and placement of the coper bushing and assembly of the bar. I hopeful that there will be no more problems.
