potatoes and red meat are bad sources of carbs / protein

Sugar is bad for you even if it's eaten within a normal diet and you aren't over eating

Whey protein is a bad source of protein and companies put chemicals in it so you aren't really getting all the amino acids



What would you guys do about this - was considering printing off studies to debunk off this stuff
OR just sitting back and laughing and minding my own business

I would ask them to substantiate their claims with the relevant scientific literature and offer to show them the error of their ways.

Suck it up, tell them what they want to hear, and pass the course. The chances of a student affecting the curriculum, regardless of how wrong it is, are somewhere between zero and nada. Further, it could negatively affect your grade if you piss the teacher off enough.

I would print out a ton of more relevant, updated research on the day of the test based on the material of the study guide, and once done with the test, staple them to the back when turning it in.

Just print out double blinded placebo controlled studies on whatever topic is going to be lectured on that day. Then raise your hand, object, and back it up. Will be glorious. Could affect your grade though, so maybe save it for the end of the semester.

I had a professor at Uni that spent a full two hour lecture explaining that I-94 and other large freeways were built as walls to segregate african americans from whites. I raised my hand and said they were built for transporting goods and materials during war and connecting the country, she gave me a D in the class and I had to retake it. only grade I ever received below a C. Would like to beat her black husband for that grade.
