How is the new cal split working for you? I mean, jumping from cutting to hitting 3k cals can be mindphucking. Any weight gain/loss, change in appearance, whatever?

Building my cals up slowly. Ended my PSMF @162lbs and today was 168lbs. Not so defined as I was after carb up, but I didn't gain any fat. It is water in my muscles and additional food in my system. In march I was successfully cutting @3200kcal as I was really active. Trying to stabilze my weight @ 167lbsish this month and then start gaining.

I want my 5.5 - pack abs back!

but do not want to lose the regained upper body thickness...

This song describes what should I do about it

    06.06.2012
Weight: 167.6lbs (this is the maximum weight I will allow during the reverse dieting this month)

Aaaah kill me now! My body is sore all over, but I am loving it. Tomorrow is going to be DL and OHP combined beacause I might not have time to hit the gym later this week.

Trying to land my cals into 3250kcalish range this week.

    Macros: 2645kcal, F 120g, CHO 204g, P 157g

    My infamous tuna pizza

Garlic omelette with sour cream and dill (couldn't fit bacon into my macros )

Discoverd bunch of strawberries in my freezer from last year. Might do a strawberry cheesecake or a cottage cheese/ice cream smootie tomorrow.

    Sore all over!

Todays deadlift song. Pantera is the bomb.

    06.06.2012
    Weight: 168.2lbs (still gaining)

    WEEK 1
    DL/OHP A

    OHP

WU, 5x83, 5x94, 5x110 (easy, but I forgot that last set is all out MAX set, lol)

    DL

WU, 5x204, 5x231, 8x264 PR! (might have managed to do 9 but in expense of form)

    DB shoulder press

    12x52, 6x 57, 8x52

    DB sitting "power cleans"

    2x10x19

Chin-ups (will do 9-10 reps next time in one set!)

    6x, 8x, 7x BW

    DB kickbacks (another great movement)

    2x15x13

I just can't think of a muscle that is not sore right now. I might be doing too much accessory work (reduced little bit as I was so tired halfway)... Ill give my routine time as I am not eating @ maintainance yet. One option that I liked was accessory work for WS4SB template. http://www.defrancostraining.com/art...rds-part3.html

Trying to land my cals into 3250kcalish range this week. This means that I can eat 2900kcal tomorrow and my first week of reverse dieting will be over. And baked a huge strawberry condensated milk cheesecake with chocolate cookie crust today Badboy is in the fridge right now.

    Macros: 3416kcal, F 89g, CHO 500g, P 175g

BRO special: Persllade chicken, rice and veggies

^^^ This. If you are shooting for size cgbp and weighted dips can handle most of your development... if you want to start doing isos (use typical powerlifting accessories for power) for aesthetic purposes put focus on the long head. Decline skullcrushers are a good go too choice... any behind the head movement (or even incline skulls) can also get the job done.

Agreed, but wanted to fit in one iso for 2x15 and I feel that kickbacks will do the trick for me. Otherwise cgbp and weighted dips ftw

Thank you, sir! Nothing special: chopped garlic, 2 tiny chopped champignons and 4 beaten eggs. My all time favourite omelette is: chopped champignons, red onion and bacon topped with cheese Big omelette fan here.

    Jababababa

This song was just banging in my head for the whole day.
As you can see, my music choice is quite diverse.

    08.06.2012
    Weight: 168.3lbs

No gym workout, but I was working at a food festival representing one nice product and my jaw hurts from talking so much all day long. Will start working for them next month. Little income is always welcome
In the evening had soccer practice. I have been neglecting cardio for too long. I have to remind you that I play sports in the winter (floorball) and soccer in the summer. Frist minutes into training were hard. As is write this post I am drinking my morning coffee before going to our 3rd league game. First time I am playing my desired position as attacking midfielder (not sure how many soccer fans in my log )

Calories for the week landed in 3250kcal region and satisfied with it. Increasing it to 3350kcals next week.

    Macros: 2933kcal, F 88g, CHO 374g, P 167g

    And Here, I represent you.......

    Condensated milk strawberry cheesecake
    3376kcal, 128g F, 360g CHO, 184g P

Texture was perfect, but taste wasn't something spectacular (really good though)

Thanks! Jason, this is real life. My "record" cheesecake was something like 245g P per cake and no powders used. This is actually cottage cheese cake but with identical texture as cheesecake (experimented subtituting cc w full fat cream cheese) Macros for this cottage cheese per 100g: 81kcal, 1.5g F, 2g CHO, 15g P (and the texture is not dry at all as this cottage cheese is mixed with unflavoured yogurt.

    Insane bloat is insane

    Classics!

Too much drinking and too much eating this weekend. Easly chuckled down 6k kcals one day. Still feeling weak and bloated. Though cake was damn good. I am getting little bit concerned as I got lean too early because the weather is ****ty and I haven't been able to hit the beach. 29th of june I will be going to a uni students summer sports camp where I want to look sharp. Might do a 5-day PSMF to get rid of some unwanted water weight and clear things out.

As I mentioned before WO was really really bad and it seems that I lost lots of bench strength (I hope this was due to my "bad" weekend and skipping bench WO on my last cycles deload week)

    BACK TO DESTRUCTION MODE TOMORROW!

    11.06.2012
Weight: Didn't want to stress myself?!

    WEEK 2
    Bench B

    Barbell bench press
    Warm up, 3x127, 3x143, 6x165 (utter crap)

Incline dumbell bench press (didn't go all out and concentrated on form)
    15x55, 12x60, 8x60

    DB flyies
    2x15x17

    Chin-ups
    8x, 8x, 6x, 5x, 5x

    Dips
    15x, 2x12x + BW

Nothing interesting foodwise (tempted to eat lower cals than planned this week to even out the weekend overeating....) But ate the ammount I planned. Going to bake an awsome cheesecake tomorrow

    Macros: 3718kcal, 117g F, 493g CHO, 181g P

5 days of PSMF seem too much to me, aesthetically speaking. At least, more than 3 days straight left me looking like crap many times. Playing with electrolytes, alcohol and 1-2 days of PSMF, all these COMBINED, can do wonders though

Instead of PSMF I might do 3 days quite low carb and then refeed high carbs before going to the camp. Feling good already and the bloat is gone
