i think i'm going to push DLs to the second leg day instead of on the 2nd pull day
that way there's no grip problems or anything on that day and it frees me up to do a little bicep work which honestly i end up not doing 90% of the time because i'm spent and it took me too long to get through the 5 sets of DLs
stats right now
incline bench: 185x6 (was doing 215x5 on flat but i switched because Incline just feels better on my shoulders, i started low when i switched to incline and i'm just bumping it 5-10 a week)
squat: 250x5
DL: 325x5
MP: 135x6
just slowly moving on up with the weight, i'm pretty unconcerned with numbers on the bar besides as a measure of progression

Looking joocy, good sir.
/shrug. It is a part of you. A part that you learn from and grow from. I think initially, it is almost hard not to talk about it a great deal - that is part of the process. TBH, initially it has to pretty much define who you are - "I am recovering". Then you start to rediscover who you are and it is simply another part - "I am me". You can regret some of the things you did, but you don't regret who you became because of them.
Keep busting it - you've made some awesome progress(both in/out of the gym).

my shoulders have been taking a beating
its getting pretty bad on lateral raises especially, starting to hurt like a bitch
goodnight sweet rotator cuffs
i don't know what why this is, maybe ya'll can tell me if you experience it as well, but my shoulders seem to have the least endurance out of everything... i'm assuming its because they get used in all pressing movements but they give out way before my chest/tri's and its like delts i am disappoint

Laterals are over rated. If a movement is becoming painful you need to determine if is just a burn from training or if it is a minor injury starting. Any lift that causes pain in the rotator cuff should be completely removed from your routine... or you need to find out if your form is to blame and correct it.

Tinker with other variations in your form (such as the amount of elbow bend, how high you go, how your brace your body etc) until the pain goes away, or consider finding other lifts if it does not subside. There is more than one way to skin a cat... or in this case more than one lift that can be used to work the same muscle correctly.

oh ****! Who are you? Say what's up to me. What time are you usually there?
got a request to update log
I'm sitting at 162, I took week before last off and then like a half week this week and haven't tracked anything at all
just feeling kind of demotivated but ready to go hard on Monday
As far as the current cut:
I don't want to get into a big discussion about it but I am kind of bummed because I think I have bit of the ol' gyno which I've been feeling like **** about since puberty lulz
If you go back to my initial before picture you can tell its gotten better, and I'm not super lean yet so I have some hope that it's still mostly pseudo, just kind of a bummer that abs are starting to come in and I'm still holding chest fat
Strength is kind of waning a bit as cut rolls on, definitely reduced some volume as well
Ready to kill on Monday though

I'm gonna have to agree with JasonDB, i dont see any gyno in the pics. The only issue im seeing is that you dont have well developed pecs....yet. you just gotta keep at it man. 1 1/2 week is too long of binge, lets get this **** going again
the Y is my fall back gym so if i am even there it isnt until 8 or 9 on the weekdays. I got a job on base so i usually hit up one of the gyms on the 2 bases.
I can see the gills coming in too (serratus anterior). you might be able to breath underwater soonLast edited by Madone59; 02-20-2012 at 09:38 AM.

my pecs are definitely my weak point and my bench (I switched to incline bb last month or so because flat was tearing up my shoulders) is my weak lift
My triceps are a strong point too and I think that causes a little bit of the lag
My shoulders are pretty decently strong as well I'm up to 140x6 on OHP at 162 but I'm inclining 185x4 and my bench seems to be the only lift that is suffering from the cut
I Bench with really good form though and not in a powerlifter set up
The gyno thing is by feel too, but ive read sites that say even that is not a perfect indicator, it doesn't feel like my stomach fat though
and re: Jason, it's not cell-tech gyno, ifi have it then it's been there since early teens when I was a chubster
It's not super bad or anything but i notice it and everyone always comments on my chest being a weak spot and I think it's because the fat kind of ruins the lines
Nothing else to do but to get leaner and see what happens! Anyone guess bf in last picture? I'm still thinking like 155 for 9-10%. I def think I'm going to hit my year 1 goal of looking good for summer and being 160@10% (by august)

can you cite sources that support that? you are alone or in a very small minority if you think gyno that has "set" or is pubertal can be removed by anything other than surgery
no, still slacking
i've been sick or something
gotta get back on my grizzy
i have an interview at a gym in Bel Air tomorrow morning though! so maybe I will get the job and a membership there and be delivered from the Y!
