Having your strength nearly back after a long layoff is great news dude! Let us know how it is training with someone; I know you've trained solo like me for the longest time. Let's hope the nagging injuries and such stay away this time. What kind of training program are you using?

Training with someone else seems to be really working out for me. I'm able to push myself and get more aggressive with the weights like never before.
No actual program atm, but lots of 5x5 on the compounds, plus some max attempts here and there. 3 more sessions then a rest for a week THEN we will be doing more of a Westside/5x5 thing.My PowerLifting journal!

Trained on Wednesday but didn't get time to log it.
Yesterday.
Deadlift.
Pulled 200kg (440lbs)
460lbs x0

- Nice to get back to the 200kg mark. 210kg hardly moved hahaha
Squat.
Worked up to a 286lbs x5 - easy.

Thanks Chris! Yeah pretty close. My best is 217.5kg (477lbs). I do alot of my ab work on the glute ham raise machine.
Thanks Scott. I am weakest off the floor (as always) so I'll be moving into mainly snatch grip DLs or deficit DLs. Squats are getting back up there

Sunday's session.
Bench Press
Worked up to a 110kg max (242lbs). That was a 10kg increase from the previous week. Very happy with that.

Squat
Worked up to 170kg x1 (374lbs). That was 20kg (44lbs)increase from last week!!!!!!

Totally blown away by the squat effort today. My training partner, Jocke, matches me almost kilo for kilo on almost everything lol. He also took 170kg for a ride. Had some real bad probs lately with my body weight, sleep apnea and high blood pressure. Been in and out of hospital for tests etc.
I'm in the process of trying to lose some body fat.
Monday's highlight was a sq pr of 140kg x10.
