I know the VS ones arent in the stores, unfortunately. The waist is actually a bit too small for me currently (on that fatty time.) However, the rise is perfect!
I usually dont like express jeans because most of them make me LOOK like I have pancake ass! What sense does that make? These are the only ones that dont do that. The rise isnt perfect, but they are really comfy!
Have you thought about getting pants taken in at the waist? have had a pair of express taken in because they fit perfect in the arse/thighs. Was about $20 and worth it!What's Spicy Training For?? LIFE MOTHER F-ER!

Damn nice job man.
My little victories in the past couple weeks - Did a 545 squat lockout without dying and 455 for 2 singles on mixed stance deadlift, new form and loving it so finally going to start setting pr's again.
Part 2 - finished a 5.11c route at the climbing gym (about 4 steps over what I consider myself to be solid at). Only reason I could do it is because it matched my climbing style - corner route, very very small foot placements and long stretches, lot of matching hands to feet and I have the flexibility for it. Even was frictioned against the corner of the wall without any holds at all for a move... literally hands and feet pushing my body into the corner with nothing but friction holding me up there. Had cramps in my hips for a week on that one.*Unaesthetic Crew* Disregard V-Taper, Acquire PRs.

What do you want out of the numbers? Maybe a relationship if either one is quality material or just a **** and chuck? if the former then try and choose one really soon and pursue. If it's the later call both and don't add either to ******** lol.
Little Victories:
Gym: Had a terrible energy day and nutrition day but still kicked ass in the gym. That's huge for me, usually food dictates a lot.
Outside of gym: Finished my composition.www.xccellence.com

Dear diary,
Got the full 3*5 on squats today. Followed it up with a single at 275 for the hell of it, and there were still lbs in the tank.
Got the full 5*330 on rack pulls, and a single at 365.

Literally have been plateaued on bench for nearly a year.. on very subtle gains (actually lifting correctly took away much of what strength I thought I had). I finally tested my 1RM on bench after running a Smolov Jr cycle, and my bench has increased over 20lbs. Feelsgoodman.

Nah. I'm young and seem to recover fairly well. Plus I bench more like a powerlifter (i.e. less stress on my shoulders) and to be honest I've held up great. I'm taking a deload week and then going right back into another cycle. My back is slowly healing up and throughout this next cycle I'm going to begin to dead lift and squat lightly again. I won't try anything heavy until I choose a new program after the smolov cycle.

I don't follow Dave Tate's bench pressing style. Mine is more like Rippetoe's but has a little powerlifting flare in it. Hard to explain it without showing it.
Uh not really sure how I hurt my back. Although I don't remember any pain at the time, the back injury did occur after a week of squat and dead lift attempted PRs.
Yes I will cut soon.IIFYM - not even once.

I was shrugging 760lbs yesterday and the strap on my right hand tore in half. First time this has happened. High quality APT straps too.
It's a victory cause the straps supposedly hold up to 1000lbs.

APT will be replacing straps free for me.Last edited by PBateman2; 02-01-2012 at 07:32 AM.

I've been getting told a lot lately that I must have always been a skinny *******.
I've also been getting told a lot lately that I have good genetics.
They don't know how hard I work every single day educating myself, stay dedicated to my plans, keeping my eyes on future goals and pushing myself in the gym.. but I actually love hearing both of those things. Even though I know I'm on the right path, it's always nice to hear people think so too even if it is in a really round about sort of way.*Unaesthetic Crew* Disregard V-Taper, Acquire PRs.
The Iron is the best antidepressant I have ever found. There is no better way to fight weakness than with strength. Once the mind and body have been awakened to their true potential, it’s impossible to turn back. The Iron never lies to you.
