    Just talked to Phil for about 15 minutes......he DOES NOT eat 9000 Cals every single day, no way, no how....says he's in the 6-7000 calories range during the offseason. Every so often, he will have a "cheat day" and hover around the 9000 calorie range - but that is very very seldom - he agrees that's a ton of food.

    point being? I know kids that are 50lbs less than me and need 1000+ calories more to maintain... metabolism-weight are not linked.

    there are a l0t 0f misc0ncepti0ns ab0ut metab0lism. Pe0ple think s0meh0w the b0dy magically disp0ses 0f cal0ries and a smaller guy can eat m0re than a bigger fatter guy and stay lean. It d0sen't w0rk that way. Y0ur metab0lism is mainly based 0n b0dy weight. Fatter pe0ple have faster metab0lisms than a smaller lighter guy.
