I looked at the formula and overall i was not impressed...i didn't expect much though...although i do think they make quality proteins...other then the creatine i can't imagine there is much more recovery or mass building in that jug versus their hydrowhey...i guess the addition of calories might help but i rather skip out on that part.

i don't understand the logic behind making this supplement...so if i took hydrowhey, added a scoop of bcaa's instead of the EAA's and added my own creatine would it be any different other than less calories?
Why wouldn't they state the amount of di/tri peptides just to ring a bell? That would be better marketing IMO...tell me it's a high level of di/tri peptides and just maybe i would consider it...oh and that price...give me a break.

Ha ha I find it interesting how when I answer a question instead of asking me what it is I get attacked by several of you. But oh well. Egg protein is the one of the most complete protein sources that you can obtain. By having hydrolyzed egg albumin first off the percent of absorbability is higher than most protein powder with the additional benefits of more complete aminos for the body to use. Secondly because it is hydrolyzed the ratio it gets absorbed is quicker hence for post training purposes it's ideal (the combo of casein in this as well enhances recovery and protein synthesis).

ALL animal sources of protein are complete. So the whole egg being one of the most complete, really means nothing. Just another dumb marketing ploy by ON.
Show us actual proof that hydro whey yeilds better resuts opposed to WPC, and I'll take you seriously. Otherwise, take your broscience elsewhere.

I don't want to sound like I'm bashing on Optimum Nutrition, I think their a good company but their last few new products aren't that great, Amino Energy is eh, it tastes good but it's basicly caffein with a few aminos. Then the BCAA chewy thingys, I dont even know what to say about that. Then this new Hydrobuilder, which is crazy expensive. I think O.N. Should just stop making random stuff and should just reformulate the flavoring on their protein, after all O.N. is basicly known for their protein. Conclusion, just stop making random products and just upgrade your best seller (protein).

yup as soon as I read the label I nearly sht myself since when it first came out it looked like a decent product. ON has devoloped a reputation from back in 2008 that they are the main go to supplement company that makes great products....LOL wrong.
I mean honestly most of their profiles suck big time, too bad they are making so much money, although that has def started to decline.

To me the biggest joke of all is Opti-Men. It's worse than any other product ON has. Yet so many people here swear by it. They can get away with it because most people are clueless when it comes to vitamins.
This product isn't really bad. It's just really over-priced and thus pointless at this price point. If I had a free tub I'd use it (assuming I could stomach it). Opti-men I wouldn't use if it were free. ON's protein products are all at least usable and the protein itself is fine. It's just things like taste and/or price are problematic on them.Latest Reviews:

ok this seriously has to be a joke, they are actually making people pay money for these things? Theres practically nothing in it, I may as well just pick up some gummy bears and eat those.
@shadar I've heard that optimen is awful thankfully I never tried it, after I went through a couple tubs of their protein I smartened up and got some myo and gonna pick up some XF 2.0/whey and may try Vasolate since it has a pretty good profile.
I lol@ their reg hydro whey too, they advertise it as getting to your muscles within 30min or w/e, but its not like it actually matters at all the anabolic window is atleast 8 hours after you lift.
