out of 23 fights gsp has finished 13. has won 8 decsions and lost twice. both losses he went back and avendged brutaly. every one of thoses descions he has won he was trying to finish the fight. dan hardy thiago alves and fitch were all tough s.o.bs in there fights not to mention he didnt really have the ability to finish alves becasue he pulled his groin first round. where as on ocasions anderson has come into fights to goof off and piss about

Why would GSP risk his health and move up a weight class in a short amount of time? Risking heath and risking losing does not make sense. They need to come to a comprimise. If Silva wants it enough then he will come down slightly - as should GSP visa versa. If he moves up then it he will do it safely and the fight will not happen within the year.

according to him he walks around at just a couple pounds under 200.

people who dont think GSP needs to go up and fight silva thats fine but dont say silva needs to cut 40-50 pounds to make it fair or GSP needs time to put on size since hes had years already. GSP is plenty big enough and will probably be the strongest guy silva has faced in the ufc, the only thing about GSPs size that would disavatagious is his reach so unless hes working on that his size isnt the issue.

200 lbs is plenty big enough for this fight at 185.

he said the pulled groin was in the 4th, not the 1st when alves flipped him and pushed down on his leg.

Since being embarrassed by Serra, he's taken on the boring, lay on opponent, grind out a decision strategy from good ol' Greg Jackson, just like his other fighters. 4 decisions in the last 5 fights. Come on, No Finish Georges, step your game up.

Don't even say that he isn't. Everytime they bring up the topic of a superfight between the two, each fighter's response is always along the lines of:

Silva: "F@ck yeah! Let's do this!"
GSP: "Wel...um, yeah, sure. I guess. I mean, I have to put on some weight first, and um, you know, we'll see. But I don't know..."

GSP's fans are even worse. They're always making excuse for GSP, blabbing about, "Durr, it's not fair. Why does GSP have to up in weight to fight Silva? No fairsees!" You know why? Because why the f@ck not? GSP is always talking about cementing his legacy as the best "fighter" ever in mma history. So what does it matter if he has to fight somebody a weight class above him?

Silva has already stepped up in weight to fight a weight class above him. GSP hasn't. GSP is scared and has so much of a hard-on for his "legacy" that he will probably come up with any excuse not to take a fight with Anderson Silva.

And I say all this as a Anderson Silva hater.

They are the best fighter in their own weight classes. I am a GSP fan but I think he would get raped going up a weight class+ fighting the best person there. I would love to see the fight though.
