Mainstream hasn't been this bad in comparison to underground since '03. And I'm not saying all mainstream is bad or that all underground is better, just in general. The average mainstream hit is completely outshined by what's going on in indie labels. I'm not dissing all mainstream, there's artists I still love to listen to, but even then...they haven't been quite as good as back in the day (Jay-Z and Kanye for example).

Older Atmosphere was prime material, their last album was solid too. Good for them getting signed to Warner too, Ant's got much more resources for production now.

Completely agreed. For those who didn't read the first post, 2010 just marked another year where the underground releases outshined mainstream, much like 2003. Not saying I didn't enjoy maintream releases (Big Boi's album was PRIME for example).
