    Cheat Day

    What exactly counts as a cheat day? Eating what you want throughout the day (in moderation of course), or just eating what you want once on that day, then being strict the remainder of the day?

    Because I had a PB & J sandwich, some Goldfish, and 2 sugar cookies and I'm feeling guilty as f***. My cheat day is on Sunday, so I may count today as my cheat day.

    Basically eating a little above maintenance for the day and eating I guess whatever you want. This is mostly for peeps that can't hang with a set diet and simply need a mental break or some kind of reward.

    I understand it, but I try not to do it. If you feel the need to cheat, make it a MEAL and not an entire day thing. The few times I've cheated, I've just eaten super low cals for the day prior to a big cheat dinner, and still ended up around maintenance cals for the day.

    that's def not a cheap day. yes you mess up a little, but you can easily turn the day around without a p I'm no expert but in my opinion In general cheat days are around 4000 calories(depends on your current weight) and it doesn't matter if you have 1 or 2 cheat meals during the day as long as you don't go so high that you totally mess up your total calorie intake number for the week. like if you weight 150 and you ate 6000 cals for that day I think you really over did it.

    My cheat days .. the real ones .. are typically UFC night with the boys, and I consume whatever I wish.

    Rum & Cokes, Pounds of Meat/Chicken, Chips, Ice Cream, Cake, etc... but of course I flush out my system best I can for the next few days with LOTS of water to get rid of the excess sodium.

    But ya, I moderate myself a bit more on those days, which happen maybe 1 / month if not every 2. But normal cheat days are just me having a Coke and maybe a few Cookies or something, maybe a Burger + Fries, etc.

    Enjoy them, we're all human.

    Moderation is the only important thing.
    When I'm fat my pants don't fit, When I lose weight my pants don't fit.. maybe I should stop wearing pants?

    A cheat day is a full 24 hour binge session. You eat all that crap that you haven't had in weeks/months. You bloat up 5-10 pounds, and you get awful diarrhea.

    The very next day, you get back on track 100% and you drop the bloat within 2-3 days feeling much better mentally. It's all about mental health.

    Full cheat days are totally unnecessary unless it's a very special occasion (e.g. a Wedding)

    one Cheat Meal is perfect

    I eat mine in the morning and i eat whatever i want for that meal

    My cheat day consists of eating anything and everything!! hehe

    I dont restrict anything, seeing as I worked really hard at the gym all week and been 100% with my diet.

    Usually the night before my refeed I do not sleep well as my body and mind knows its refeed is literally hours away........ .....

    The following day I get back on track 100% until my next cheat day. Usually by day 3 ive lost all the water weight and by the end of the week I have tightened up again and no longer looking 'soft'.

    Luckily for me I have never gained weight, in fact I usually lose a lb .

    The amazing thing is once I start my refeed I can feel my metabolism speed up!

    The day after its like 'jet fuel'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
