@009 was his best year as far as anyone who knows a dam thing about bodybuilding.........He was so much better then Kai,Phil,Dex and Branch it was not even funny...........You people need to see Jay in person, pics and videos dont do him justice.

Even after last year (Arguably his best showing) Jay still said he know's he can make improvements and that he can come in even better... I believe he has the determination to make it happen. Would be cool to see him come in this year ever better than last year!!

Well, Kai, Phil, Dex and Branch aren't exactly a prime Ronnie, this is partly a reason why Jay has dominated so badly the 2009 Olympia

Jay has had a good run, and no hate on him, but I really just don't think he has a chance to win this year.. I could see him placing as low as 3rd or 4th.. maybe 2nd but imo, def not winning it again..

I want martinez to win... but it's gonna be kai, or maybe heath

Unfortunately this is very true. I would love to see a repeat of 09 Jay, or an even better version, but his prep is so unpredictable, you dont know if he is going to appear watery like 07, or flat like 04 and 08..

he FINALLY nailed his prep for once, and not only that but the entire competition was off except for branch and dex as usual.... and his lower back was still very atrophied, hes far from his 01 form which was his best imo. hes past his peak.... jay even said himself that 09 was his last chance at gaining any credibility and he had to win that show.... of course deep down at the time before the olympia he knew he was going to have trouble being at his best again. he may talk about being at his best ever now.... or training harder than ever..... because he has to for his sponsors, fans and for the sake of being the favorite to win again.

i believe his back will be worse, he wont be as dialed in as 09 and his right side will be more atrophied seeing how hes training so hard.... but thats just my prediction i could be way off

so many muscletech pictures of jay are photoshopped hard, especially in the waist area

yes, but its going to be even better because phil is going to have his best showing ever, better than this years AC. hopefully victor can pull off the 07 size and fullness, but maybe a little bit freakier conditioning

Jay DOES have a history of coming in off, and yes he nailed it in 09, but Jay wasn't working with Hany Rambod beforehand either.

Also- chances are Jay & Phil both will be dialed in with improvements included, they DO have the same trainer.

yes, but hany said himself that jay was his toughest ever to work with. hany is very good, possible the best right now but hes not perfect. he is bound to make a mistake sooner or later

He was working with Jay and still is. Jay even refers that in a recent interview that Hany had him on more fats than carbs, etc dieting for the O.09.
PhoenyxBuff was the one who made up some bullcrap that Hany only worked with Jay for like 2 weeks or so..

I think as long as he nails his prep towards the end he'll be good, not saying he's perfect but Hany has a hell of a track record, I def see where you're comin from though

I agree. We'll have to wait 'til 4 weeks out, before making a choice. He does look good, but I'm not judging by this pic.

thats true... hany didnt work with him for the full year, all jay did was incorporate FST-7 year round and then consulting with hany throughout his prep. but they werent really together throughout the entire offseason. im sure it was longer than two weeks though, but that was all jays problem originally. he claimed he would always look deadly a few weeks out but he would screw it up at the last moment, and thats where hany came in this time

im about 85% sure this is correct, i read about it all in the post 09 olympia issue of MD
