Tuna is so freaking delicious but...

But I'm scared of getting too much mercury. My nurse wife and mom are always on me about eating too much. I see that some of you guys take down tuna like a shark, so I'm just wondering if anyone has really researched how safe it is? If I'm eating a can a day am I going to turn into a thermometer?

From fatass to average. Average is for quitters.

    Christmas 2006: Nearly 300 pounds
    Christmas 2007: 215

    10/18/2010: 198

Currently cutting to 185 or 190 depending on BF%.

Maybe I'm being optimistic about the FDA, but I'd think that they would put a warning label on it cautioning against over-consumption if it was dangerous. That being said, I eat about 3-4 cans/week.

You can also try canned Salmon.

200lbs, and I've got about 4 cans of albacore left, i'll switch to the light after that.

I'll try the zinc and research other ways to counteract it. I love the stuff and plan to eat it for a long, long time... just want to do it without taking years off my life.

I believe it is suggested someone only have 2 servings of Tuna a week. I only eat about a 3 servings a week (I like those BIG cans) so it is not a major part of my diet but I do like to eat it. Light chunk is the best, avoid albacore,

Wow, I have never heard anyone refer to tuna as being really delicious as the original poster put it.

Unless I have a lot of mayo and spice in it, it's disgusting.
