I started pretty aggressive because of a lot of stuff I have to deal with in terms of traveling & moving (we are re-locating 1000 miles to florida), I want to be ready ahead of time if need be.
Normal days: 275g protein, 230g carbs, 60g fat
Higher carb days: 250g protein 400g carbs, 55g fat
starting out only with 1 day per week of cardio (HIIT session with 10 intervals) because as of now I simply do not have time for more cardio. It's funny, i'm done with my thesis, but I've never been busier LOL. That's ok, no one ever achieved greatness by waiting on their ass for it to happen.

I will compete at SHREDDED. I got caught up in weight so many times and it held me back. I don't care. I am going to be the leanest guy onstage. If that's 180 lbs so be it, if that's 200 lbs so be it. But I find that when you target a specific weight you almost NEVER get lean enough.
I am going to go until I get veins in my glutes.

Little vid from a recent leg workout with my buddy Dom who I'll be lifting with regularly when I move to Tampa. Dom is an assistant professor of physiology at USF and a BIG STRONG mofo. Dude is about 240 lean and significantly stronger than me, which will be great. I'm looking forward to being around people who are better than me to push me.

Intensity and consistency.
people think there is a secret but really, most people just are not dedicated, consistent, or mentally tough enough to tolerate slow gains for a long period of time. I've never added more than 12 lbs of muscle in a year and most years it was closer to 5 or less. But when you maintain that for over 10 years and you don't miss workouts, it's amazing what can happen

legs will always be a weak point just because of their structure (very short sweep) and there's not much I can do about that except work my ass off and get them as big as possible. I have added a lot of size to them so I'm excited to see what they'll look like onstage this time.
I'd also say shoulders are a weakness because of not having nice rounded delts. Not a whole lot can be done about that either. But I'll keep killin it and let the chips fall where they may
