All Korean style games are going to be grindfest.

Most of, if not all of them, will share the same style graphics, gameplay, and classes. It's as if every development company must adhere to a specifc guideline for MMO's. It's quite odd, hilarious, pathetic, and sad all at the same time.

More or less.
They just change names, and make minor tweaks between classes/skills/items generally.
As well as change the landscapes and character models.

It's hard to find an MMO that is 'original'.

I wouldn't doubt it. Ever since Lineage was a big hit they've decided to run that style of game into the dirt before trying anything else. I just don't understand it.
I'm sure they could develop some amazing games, but for whatever reason they don't feel the need to be in the running for the top gaming development company.

all those free ones use the same game engines probably

the best MMORPG i remember was LineAge2 (free servers) i used to play that when i was young so much and after that i played free ones but nothing beat lineage 2 in its detail especially PVP and how you initiate fights and the animations and control are so clear (even 10x server rates were a massive grind but the server i played on was russian and the amount of mature people was really great and the community was perfect, beats the other MMO where there are countless 8 year old asian kids putting la and lor and leh after every word and spamming)

I can't wait for Jumpgate Evolution. JE is what most people thought Eve Online was going to be when they first saw it on the selves. I.e., flight combat sim with a persistent economy.

The economy is very similar to Eve and the flight physics are so good they make your brain hurt from the awesomeness.

In the SG-W Beta now. It's very much the game I wish Tabula Rasa would have been.
