I get Braun Stroman is a dumb name, but it fits his character because it sounds like Brawn Strongman and he is brawny looking and a strong man.
Steiner's kid is named Bron which sounds a hell of a lot like Braun. So if they ever feud, are the announcers are talking about Braun or Bron? And why on Earth would they change his last name from Steiner when they've already acknowledged it's Rick Steiner's kid. One would expect he would have the same last name. Why not keep the legacy of the name? And if his real first name is Bronson why not call him Bronson Steiner? Oh is it because there is already a Bronson Reed? What about Bron Steiner?
Don't even get me started on the Bloodline.
If Solo Sikoa is the brother of the Usos, why the hell does he have a different last name? Why not Solo Uso? HA!
Then there's Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. So one guy's last name sounds exactly the same as his partner's first name LOL. I think a lot of people remember the name Tonga from the Tonga kid, so why didn't they just give them both the same last name of Tonga? Would anyone really care or know the difference if they switched the first and last name? This way you could have Tama Tonga and Loa Tonga. But their problem is the same as the Uso's problem is they both look alike and you don't really know who is who.
And when Damage Control first came no one could get the names straight between Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai. The last names sound very alike but it took 3 years to figure out who was who.
The latest is Dragon Lee and Dragunov. 2 names with Dragon. Dragon Lee sounds like he would be a masked Asian wrestler, but is a Mexican luchadore and the other guy using the name Dragunov because he's Russian and it sounds like Drago from Rocky IV. But he doesn't look anything like Ivan Drago, because Drago was He-Man and Dragunov is your typical twink wrestler.
Was it Vince who came up with these names or Trips? Just terrible.
Even the announcers get mixed up (Cole did it on RAW this week), then how the hell are the fans supposed to keep track of who is who?
Where is the imagination and why do so many wrestlers have similar names and why do they all look the same? Don't they have writers for this?

OP to be fair to them - Bron Breakker's real name is Bronson so I can't blame them on the bron part.
i've never agreed with the idea of pulling a guy's last name when it's famous within the wrestling world. like yeah i get it, you want to copywrite/own the names but if randy orton wasn't randy orton it just wouldn't be the same especially early in his career.
Bronson Steiner is a cool name. fine as it is. that's a money name, "bron Breakker" sounds like something a kid came up with
a more extreme example because i think 'breakker' will succeed further than this guy did was curt hennig's son. they slap him with "michael mcgillicutty" instead of using hennig. come on man.

Agreed in addition to Bron Breakker sounding just plain stupid it's pointless because they openly acknowledge he is Rick Steiner's son just like they acknowledged Curtis Axel/Michael McGillicutty as Curt Hennig's son. They openly acknowledge Lexis King is Brian Pillman's son. They really think fans are phucking stupid and can't remember anything they didn't see on WWE. I'm surprised when they had Michael Cole constantly reminding us how to download the WWE app they didn't have him say "Don't eat your poop, WWE Universe. Whatever you do, do not eat your own poop!"

Bronson Steiner sounds better but WWE doesn't want wrestlers to use their real names, as they could eventually leave the company and then use the clout/brand they built in WWE to help another company, even if they acknowledge that person as a legend's son.
Iyo Sky was a dumb change. She was already established as Io Shirai, and that was not her real name. I'm guessing they did it to brand her as "herp herp she does moves in the sky!" but they already had the nickname "genius of the sky" for that.
Agreed on the Tangas, that should have been the last name for both. The Usos look different now and have both had different character arcs so that's not so much an issue with me now. In their first tag run and even when they were Uso Penitentiary I couldn't tell them apart.See Krackerjacked's sig
