What is phosphatidic Acid
Phosphatidic acids (PAs) are the acid forms of phosphatidates, a part of common phospholipids, major constituents of cell membranes. Phosphatidic acids are the simplest diacyl-glycerophospholipids
Phosphatidic acid consists of a glycerol backbone, with, in general, a saturated fatty acid bonded to carbon-1, an unsaturated fatty acid bonded to carbon-2, and a phosphate group bonded to carbon-3
How does phosphatidic acid work
Muscle cells use phosphatidic acid (PA) to activate and regulate mTOR. Research studies suggest that an elevation in PA activates mTOR signaling that is induced by mechanical muscle activation (e.g. weightlifting). The proposed mechanism is that PA binds and activates signaling pathways controlling protein synthesis involving phosphorylation of the target enzymes Akt/mTOR (rapamycin), a protein kinase and the sequential stimulation of p70 ribo****l S6 kinase (p70 S6K) through enhanced translation of specific mRNAs.
What is the recommended daily dose
750 mg daily (On training days 750 mg 1 hour prior). If your using KING by Cutler Nutrition, we recommend (1 capsule) three times a day on a full stomach
How long is the recommended cycle length
8 weeks is highly recommended to achieve the best results
What can I expect from PA
An increase in strength, muscle thickness and lean tissue gain. Subjects noticed a 37% increase in squat strength vs. placebo, 55% increase in bench press strength vs. placebo and a 26X increase in lean muscle mass vs. placebo
What type of training program is necessary
No training program has been designed around PA as of yet. I highly recommend a high volume training program (4x per week). Stressing the muscles to full exhaustion is critical for growth and will yield the best results
How long till I start to notice results
Most subjects start to notice results heading into their third week
