    What are some basics to avoiding and working through plateus?

    Anyone?

    switch routines, from barbells to dumbbells, do the same workout but on diff. time.. Like you used to do bb press first, if you hit a plateau, try doing other exercise first then bb press second... something like that should work.

    Try new splits, routines, or something. Stop doing that exercise and go to another exercise that works the same muscles, and do that for awhile. Then go back to what you were doing and see if that helped.

    i found that the best way to bust through a plateau during both cutting and bulking is a good old fashioned refeed.
