Hey, thought I could get some advice from any seasoned muscle jockeys.
I've always been pretty slim, but I've been trying to put on some muscle lately. So far the progress is good, though my abs don't really look like what I was expecting. Is there something I can do to make it look more like the traditional 6/8 pack? Or is it just genetics.
Also I should add that a broke my bottom left-rib along time ago so thats the scar/bump is on that side.

Hey man, nice progress so far! You've definitely filled out more. For the abs, genetics do play a role but there are some things that may help. First, make sure body fat is low enough through diet - being lean will allow your abs to show better. Also focus on targeting the core area with exercises like planks, ab rollouts, weighted crunches. As the muscles develop more it will give a more defined look. Don't forget posture too - sucking in your stomach engages the core. Keep at it, your hard work is paying off! The rib scar shouldn't be an issue.
