Have any of you real gamers even played this?
Probably one of the best open world games and well made games out there.
Great arkham style gameplay and the open world busywork isnt so egregious.
The graphics were absolutely riddiculous and it still looks amazing to this day and even better on PC.
An open world game where you had meaningful upgrades. You got to see your car improve and become unstoppable with each new level. The car itself felt like a second character
Great customization options.
The sound design is excellent
Some fun, quirky writing that really expands on the mad max world and lore.
The atmosphere within the entire game
Just a shame WB released this game out to die and we didnt even get a sequel or any sort of dlc.

Ok. I’m here. I’m here to offer my appreciation to a game that had some of the best driving, and shooting of any game last gen. The terrain was rough . But I liked it rough, the racing was pretty satisfying. I wasn’t going to play then the fp view and the little bobble heads it reeled this big sucker right in. I took the bait hook line and sinker lol. I was a sucker for those little buggers at the time before funkos took over and ruined my entire life.

Yeh aware about the speed boost feature thingy. It's definitely one of the best features for people who are already on the platform or people looking for enhanced games that didn't receive direct updates.
I didn't think it applied for every game though. Apart from the lack of any decent games, the fps boost for legacy titles + quick resume is one of my favorite parts of the series x. I love coming back to my gears 1 remaster playthrough after months and still having it load up instantaneously where I stopped via the quick resume feature. Just a shame that the console doesn't have any worthwhile games for me to use it on a regular basis.Sig line can't be a novel

I could never understand the obsession with exclusive games unless those games really appeal to me or something. I seem to play 3'rd party titles at least 90% of the time, and the other 10% is just Forza and GT. Heck even on Switch I mostly play 3'rd party. The way I look at it a game console is just a means to play video games, and I don't see why I should be obsessing over a game being on another platform or not. If Xbox makes a great deal of games that I like better to play that's a big win for me.

LOL your barking up the wrong tree. i dont "hate and seeth" anything about you. you arent that important. I just think its BS your sitting here hating when you could be riding. Riding is one of the only things that make me happy so if you got a bike your just a miserable fuk if youd rather hate than ride. FACTS
And if you get into it the Grom is over priced. I can get a body and build something from the ground up that will blow the fuk outta the Grom for $2500. Atleast with some help im sure i could. get a Predator 412cc or whatever the fuk it is from Harbor Frieght and slap it on a custom body is gonna make the Grom look like a little kid toy because in actuality thats what it is. a little kids toyLast edited by Akd123; 05-25-2024 at 07:37 AM.

Bruh lets be honest, in a perfect world exclusives dont exist and everyone has access to all the game and the best games. That's not how the world works though.
With different platform makers in direct competition trying to sell their magical box, the obvious differentiator between them is the games that they make exclusively on that platform in order to sell it and that's the beauty of it, that's why all these platform owners do their hardest to try make the best possible games and gain exclusivity on it - Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo are no different. They all make games to try and entice customers to play games on their platform.
Nowadays its a lot better and the lines are blurred which is a good thing and I hope for more partnerships and staggered releases.
Xbox releases everything on gaypass with cross-progression and they just released titles on ps5.
Sony lets 2-3 years go by before bringing it to PC, unless it's some gaasy title then they release on PC day one.
I'll be honest I dunno wtf Nintendo is doing so w/e
End of the day competition is good and it should stay that way, but after some time they can release these titles on other platforms so that mgptp's of the world who plays games years and years after release can play them and give these games a new lease of life ... while fellas like me who like to play them day one can invest in multiplatforms and play them on release.
It's honestly not so hard imo, but here we are fighting over boxes and companies that dont gif a fuk about us lol.Sig line can't be a novel

I remember always hearing good things about this game when it was out. I think the majority of the gaming world was pretty shocked that an obvious movie game was actually good
Never got around to playing it tho, at this point I doubt I ever willSometimes I park in handicap spaces, while handicap people make handicap faces

Worth a try though. Might be a bit of a hard pill to swallow since it takes its time introducing you to the world and mechanics and it's honestly a rather slow burn with how the game presents itself, but it's incredibly rewarding once you're let loose into the world. Knowing your tastes, I can probably guarantee especially in 2024, this game might bore you to death.
But it's worth a try during some downtimes srs.Sig line can't be a novel

Excellent game. My only issue is too much of the game took place in the drained ocean area. You only get to the fallen towns in the last 25% of the game, when it really starts to feel like Mad Max. Small complaint though, this game had fantastic gameplay.
I think this is the coolest direction a new Twisted Metal would take. You pick one of the drivers, gather parts and scraps to upgrade your vehicle, enter tournaments, etc.

Just finished this game a couple months ago, loved it. Was harpooning everything in sight. Would run into a base, run out with them chasing me, get in the car & harpoon the fuk out of everyone.
Wish they used the dog a bit more than for just land mines & not so much of the crazed dude riding on the back.
