Hey Misc!
I got inspired because a lot of people PM me great questions and I wish we could share them with everyone. I'd like this thread to be for those interested in having a discussion about whatever topic you might think I understand. Also, if you want to share ideas with me, and everyone, that would be awesome too.
Obviously, I love the misc and try to give the best input I can muster.
Book:
I started a book I'm thinking of putting up on Amazon. The focus of it is explaining topics about life I commonly see brought up on the boards. Most people here are men and there's a wide range of concerns, but many repeat. I have good answers I commonly give but they get lost in the shuffle of threads, so having them in one place appeals to me. Also, it might help non-misc people out there somewhere.
I'm looking for suggests about topics you think would be smart to put in such a book. It's things you want clarified, like "What is a relationship", "What does Alpha mean", "How do you pick a career", and stuff like that.
Thanks for participating!

How much do you believe social status applies in society with both attraction of the opposite sex and how people view you?

Why do you have a creepy avi?
It creeps me out so much, reminds me of some scary cult founder of some obscure religious banking organization that meets in secret hallways in large stone buildings with tall ceilings.
You also look like you wear robes like this:
Why brah?
You creep me out.
No miscer is as scary as you.

How do you tell a friend, who lacks self-esteem because of his looks (typical 'finds a GF, latches onto her forever, she knows this..uses it to her advantage") that his GF is psychotic/sociopathic (if speaking Psych 101) and manipulating him? She's put his 'light' out, so to speak. He's no longer himself. Hes just a shell of who he used to be...he used to be funny...free...happy.
It pains me to watch this because I KNOW she's not faithful. She's tried to pass at me, flirt with me, give me the 'eyes', she makes him jealous using other guys and myself. I can do nothing but be cordial to her, out of respect to my friend, and pretend I don't notice her attempts, but he see's those attempts and thinks the GUYS are the ones doing it.... She also hates how good friends me and my friend have become. She wants no one else to have him...and when she told me she loved him, her eyes dodged to the right. (lie) And she said it with such forceful conviction. She also tried to convince my GF to break up with me, she does not like her, but she pretends theyre best friends. She can't stand how happy she is with me. She's constantly 'looking' elsewhere for her satisfaction, never in her relationship. She's content with it...having control of it.
How would you approach this? She's a clever lil kunt.Last edited by Dr_Decay; 12-27-2012 at 01:23 PM.

I've always been interested in art, I'm a good illustrator and painter and my favorite subject has been the human form. So, I've looked at artwork from ancient times to today.
It seems like looks are entirely driven by the culture and media of the times. In ancient Greece athletics were like a religious activity, just a cultural quirk, and so their ideal was muscularity. Then, in Europe, the same people as the Greeks basically got taken over by mideast death cults and so being proud, fit, displaying your body, and enjoying life was considered evil, so people looked like crap. In fact, I've read that being frail and childlike was an ideal in the 16 and 1700s. That was driven by the evil religions and the inbreds in those religions and the associated royalty. Strong and fir people were considered animalistic. The classic example of body image weirdness is the painter Rubens who popularized fat women because fat was a sign of wealth.
In the 20th century, sports became increasingly popular as well as "physical culture", or what we call fitness, as a way to improve health, so now we're back to something like the Greeks. That's interesting because the US is based on a Greek form of government.
I think things should stay much the same over our lives, but if the rich people decide to ruin society and make grinding poverty come back, then having 10% bodyfat will be a horror again.
Until then train hard and eat clean, or that other phrase that sounds like it.If you want to ask me a question:

When I was growing up I had ZERO help figuring out life's questions.
My parents were smart, but not very educated and more practical than anything. My peers were pretty dumb and if I got into a discussion, "I never thought of it" was the common answer. My two main buddies were like me but as they got older their intellect died down. So, I had to research and think my ass off to avoid losing my mind and stop making mistakes.
I noticed on the misc that most of the threads, the serious ones, not the "how I gave myself a blowjob" ones, were about problems I've had or seen in friends over and over. There is no mechanism in our society to teach about these issues although it's easy to see what they are, thus I thought it would be cool to compile a philosophy book about life's questions.
I especially enjoy helping young people with their questions. The quicker young people get perspective the more fun they will have for a longer period of time.If you want to ask me a question:

Unless you're very good looking or have a high degree of charisma social status/money is the ticket to mating a choice female. It is unlikely you will have to do much of anything to achieve it. You can get fat, demand she get breast implants, or whatever your heart desires.
If you wish to go that route, remember your wife will be some version of a whore though and may plan to destroy you.
Other Types of Status:
1. You're in the military, and that's a different form. I respect that and many people do. You don't need money to be attractive.
2. Sports.
3. Being fit.
4. Being entertaining.
There's lots more, but having different status means you will attract atypical people that don't fit the classic definitions of success. If you want to ask me a question:
