Well I will tell you for one that I'll never need vids to justify whatever PP is up to.
I've got a lot of my lifting and diet motivation from the cat and we don't live too crazy of a drivable distance to get together at some point. Maybe once all this crazy sh-t subsides.
Never met the kid, but I do consider PP a friend.
Would like to kick it sometime with you too BH!

It’s reciprocal, you move some serious weights, consistently, seemingly without injury setbacks. I’m jealous of your ability there, and the overhead presses!
Look me up if ever in Chicagoland. I’ve hung out with Payton from here and fit2fat2fit from Australia when he was here for a medical conference.Last edited by Plateauplower; 12-06-2020 at 12:25 PM.

You are misunderstanding the intent for the videos/pictures, it is not for validation of any kind from anyone, just the camaraderie amongst all of us her at the OV35. I for one don't really care what someone is lifting, as long as they are putting in the work.
With the exception of a few, I am sure the majority of folks in the OV35 bust their ass in the gym and we all have a goal we are trying to attain.
Dude, we can make it happen, when this Covid sh!t is over.
Thats's what I am talking about brotha, get er done!On the list for Bannukah

Over the last year I've been working hard to widen and thicken the back. I'm always looking for good row variations and I decided to try chest supported rows with my open back trap bar and they feel excellent. Just brought them in and looking forward to where I can take them.
Recent back photo. I can actually see a little bit of wingspan.

It was a little crooked on this 1st set but a I straightened it out. Once it's up on my traps it's fairly comfortable. I'll leave it on between sets.
I'm impressed how well it actually works. Might wear my belt next time though, got a little stiff. I moved furniture for 20yrs. so had issues with lower back spasms in the past, hence why I quit that and started a small painting business instead.

OK man....nothing earth shattering.
Back and should still fuked.
Have never made it back since the car accident 2 1/2 years ago. x-ray showed fractured spine, MRI showed 2 buldging and one dislpaced disk L5-S1. Back goes in and out all the time. As recently as 3 weeks ago, I was in bed for 2 days. Ortho said anything he could offer would likely leave me worse off than I am now. I pass on facet injections since I want to know when the pain comes. So it is basically rehab rehab rehab.
Only thing positive I can say is I have not skipped the gym.
Since I love a good 'call out', I did something I would not do otherwise. I only recently started to try to bench over 225 recently. Mostly worked out w/ 135.
Well tonight I decided to put 275 of bench and see what it felt like reverse grip. I am happy to say it did not feel bad.
What it did prove to me, is I am a big pu$$y and have been dogging it for a few years since I normally would not have done more then 135

Sweet - I think we're all happy to see a lifting related thread!
I guess I'll have to figure out how to save and upload vids as well - have one on my phone from a couple weeks ago but it's too big and in the wrong format for now.
Good stuff everyone who has posted so far!
I'm two weeks out from the end of my cycle and will self test 1RM then....
Which means this week I'm doing some low rep low sets... fun!
Yesterday was squats 4x2 - used a safety squat bar for the first time and took a little getting used to but the weight went up really well (385) each time and I'm feeling good about a new PR in two weeks! Shooting for ~425-440.
Did some bench as well for 4x6; just some 235 sets. Will hit lower reps tomorrow.
Deadlift tomorrow as well 4x1 @425, should be fun!
Since my first posts in October I've lost 11lbs and can definitely see progress in losing abdominal fat, without losing any strength.
After my self test in two weeks I'll got back to caloric neutral to build up to end of Feb state drug-free championships - hopefully can still add muscle and burn fat.
Feeling really good about the self discipline and progress!!It's never too late!

If you copy Bodyhard’s post with your embedded video you will see how to embed the vids with the YouTube link.
[youtube] everything after the / in the video link, then [/ you tube ]
I doubt I’m going to post any vids unless I decide I want to create a google account, which I don’t...
Decent full body session in the garage gym. Primarily because it was 50 degrees today and I didn’t run the diesel space heater which is a little unpleasant with the noise & odor. Hit full body but took it easy on squats because my lower back wasn’t feeling those today. I give you guys credit that can train hard in a home gym. I am certainly not as into it lifting in the garage. I put in the work, but it just wasn’t the same. I like bigger spaces and 10-90 powerblocks are not as nice as a rack of DBs. My park district membership expired so I’m going to train at home until we are at a lower level of clown world for going to the gym (masks entire time, appointments in advance with limited time slots, etc etc). I’ll just be doing full body 3X per week. 3-4 work sets per bodypart likely 8-12 rep range because garage weights feel heavier lol.

Nice work. What's that 225?
Preworkout plus crank the music. I went to a local supp shop I haven't been to in years. He gave me a crazy strong preworkout. 3g beta alanine, I'll be half scooping for a bit.
I'll probably never go back to the gym. I like the time saving of working out home, getting inventive with exercises and nothing was worse than going there on leg day and finding all the racks taken.
