I'm signing up for the ACE exam (personal trainer and group fitness instructor) and want to know from any of you who have taken any of these if you really need more than just the texbook.
Does buying the package help?(study aid, CD etc) or is the text book enough? The package is expensive and I don't want to waste the money if it's not going to help me pass.

Quick question - Why the ACE and not one of the NSCA certs?
I ask because I am interested in pursuing certification as well...thanks

Is there anyway to get an idea of what certs are out there and where they are best applied?

The ACE qualifications basically cater more in the areas I want to work. I guess you choose the qualification that would best suit your career plans.Originally Posted by jamsession1
