so sad over this news. i love baseball and always loved watching jose pitch, ESPECIALLY at home. kid is younger than me and just like that, hes gone.
from cuba to one of the top young pitchers in baseball. RIP jose. absolutely horrible.

Brah, this guy was one of the best in the game... Legitimate ace pitcher. Had like I think 3 total home losses since entering the league in 2013. hard to make an analogy, but with the way he played the game, and how ****ing good he was, reminds me of Russell westbrook. I'm sure someone will have a better analogy than me, though. Still at shock tbh

Honestly the best way to describe him is a future stud franchise changing pitcher at the age of 24 with some of the best movement the game has seen, and he also had a vibrant personality where you know he loved what he was doing.
