Actually got it for you..

1. Free vin Check via - https://www.nicb.org/theft_and_fraud...check/vincheck This site will tell you if the bike has or is stolen and if there is any major insurance claims on it.

2. Fork Seals - Hold front break and pump the front suspension. Touch the fork seals if it is oily or greasy there may be a leaky fork seal. Will cost a bit to fix.

3. General Appearence - Check all fairings, if its cracked check for damage under the fairing itself. Look at flame sliders for any evidence of it being dropped.

4. Tracked/Raced Bikes - Check oil filter plug, if theres a little hole in it then its probably been tracked. If it's been raced look for drilled holes on calibers.

5. Chain and Sprockets - Check sprocket condition, make sure nothing is blantantly wrong with the sprocket. The chain shouldn't be very lose.

6. Tires - check for flat spots and tire pressure.

7. Engine sound - Put your head by the engine and listen. There may be a bit of ticking, but it usually doesn't mean anything bad. Excessive ticking or knocking/banging is a bad sign. Check RPMS and make sure they are even aren't jumping while in idle.

8. Rev it up - After warming it up, rev it up. Check for smoke coming out of exhaust, black smoke is usually not a good sign.

9. Blinkers - Check all turn signals.

10. Gas tank - Open it up, use a flash light and check for rust in the tank. Visible rust = clean the whole tank.

11. Brake Rotar/Rims - Make sure there is no dents in the rim.

12. Take off passenger seat and main seat - Make sure subframe is in good conition, check for any unsual wires or damage internally.

13. Check Oil - dont' buy a bike with milky colored oil!

All I wanted to do yesterday was find a sexy bish to ride on the back of my bike and find a friend or two that rides so I'm not cruising around alone. Apparently both of those things are a lot to ask for. Everybody either wrecked their **** or get it repo'd. Spent a good 4 hours just riding around alone because I <3 riding.
