He actually kind of admitted to that in a video. He doesn't intentionally throw up, but I think it naturally leads to puking. He also is a "former" anorexic, and he now essentially has exercise bulimia. He worships David Goggins & runs ultramarathons or cycles hundreds of miles in all of his free time to burn off his food.

It's based on views. Youtubers make roughly $3-$5 per 1,000 views, for someone Erik's size.
he posts a video once per week. Looking at his channel, it appears his videos average 500-550k views each. so each week, he makes about $2,200 before taxes, obviously with some variation. Some weeks he'll rake in like 6K. Some weeks only 1K.
When you factor in that he actually spends a measurable amount of money on food to make the videos, and likely pays someone to edit the videos and create thumbnails.... it's honestly not THAT great.
Like I said, I'll take my 100k/yr and keep my dignity.**Georgia Crew**

And security. Imagine knowing if you take any time off, your viewed for elsewhere and may never come back. And eventually your audience will most likely leave anyway. Seems super stressful. Same as idiots doing Only Fans not realizing their shelf life is short and there is always another wave of younger prettier sloots every year

Anecdotes aren't super helpful though. The average salary of a youtuber with 1M subscribers is only 57K, as of 2019.

She notes that it varies wildly, but basically you haven't 'made it' by being a youtube celebrity. Having gotten to such a large subscriber base usually comes with professional services like agents and editing companies. They all take a cut. Not to mention Youtube gets %45 right off the rip.**Georgia Crew**
