Always like to pop back into this thread when I approach showtime. 5 days out from my next show... and it's the most local show I've done so far (only a 2.5 hour drive). It'll be nice to not have to drive or fly all day.
We gradually eased me out from my last event and then dialed back in. Made some adjustments in my prep this time around... I have anxiety and digestive issues that seem to be affected by the demands of contest prep, so I'm working with my coaches to find the best way to dial in without getting whacked out.
It's still hard, for sure... but I'm feeling pretty good this time around!

Wow lady! looking amazing!
In my private practice I've started a sports psychology program. I work with numerous athletes and bodybuilders. I can tell you that anxiety is pretty common for anyone in a serious weight cut.. My MMA fighters and boxers who really have to dial in and hit a certain number on weigh in day have it the worst. Their anxiety is through the roof. The combination of inadequate amounts of nutrition and the stress of having to have a certain number show up on a scale or else they don't get to fight takes a terrible toll. Bodybuilders leaning out for competitions go through a lot of the same stressors.
I use a variety of methods but progressive muscle relaxation, guided meditation and focused breathing can really help with the anxiety. Once learned it's a tool you can use on your own. If you can find someone in your area I would highly recommend it. If you have any questions send me a pm and I'd be happy to help!

Man... swear I'm passing that rep around, but I still can't give it where it's due! But thank you very much. It's been an ongoing issue for me for a while now and I'm definitely working with someone. I'm still learning myself and what sorts of things trigger my anxiety attacks. At least then I can try to control those things...

Here's about 1 year of progress. First pic was Sept. 3, 2014, other two pics are yesterday Sept. 21, 2015. I wish you could see all of my legs in the "before" pic because they were pretty scrawny along with the rest of me. I did one "after" pic to show my full body and one to match the "before" pic. I went from 117lbs to 148lbs.

I have been mistaken for DLB several times to be honest, I've been followed around the Arnold, I've been accosted in San Diego, that is a huge compliment to me! I've had the honour of spending some time in her gym at boot camps working out with her and it has been an incredible time!2020 Olympia Bound | NPC WPD Nationally Qualified | 2018 Arnold Amateur WPD Top 3 | 2x WPD Pro World Champion (INBA/DFAC)

Last pics I posted were before a September show. After that I had to prep again for the DFAC World Championships. Here's a pic from onstage there, where I won the Pro Female Athletic World title. Now I'm in peak week again for the INBA Natural Olympia. I've never done shows so close together, let alone 2 world title shows in 2 weeks. My off/gains season is just 8 days away now and I can't wait!

That's great, and I'm glad you've had such success transitioning. However this is a thread for women to post muscle building progress. You may have been raised female, but you identify as male, and these are photos of your transition, not body building progress.
Yeo, you look amazing as always. Can't wait to see the pics from your next show!PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs

ProYeo and Ashley... you ladies look AMAZING!!! It's great how hard work and dedication pay off at the end.
Here are a few of mine...
The "BeforeTravelPic" is summer 2013 at around 178lbs and idk what my body fat % was.
The rsz one is a "before and after" piece with the top from May 2014 (185lbs, 39% body fat, worst shape I was EVER in) and the bottom from August 2015 (156lbs, 24% body fat).
The 2015lots-of-numbers pic is from this morning... 154lbs and 22.8% body fat, arguably the best shape I've ever been in.
