I have no problem with him killing the ISIS piece of trash. Heck, I think the 70,000 detained ISIS fighters should be ran off a cliff with a herd of pigs chasing them. They showed no sympathy or regard for human life and have no remorse even after being captured. If they had their way, they'd take your head right now or burn you in a cage, drown you ect. The Navy Seal should've been more professional and not take gloating pictures and send bragging texts however.

Should have put him in a cage and burned him alive while streaming to youtube.
They aren't 'prisoners of war' as a war, legally, means 'The use of violence and force between two or more states to resolve a matter of dispute.' There is no other state, only unmarked combatants that do not have legal protections. Geneva protections specifically excludes "Nationals of a State which is not bound by the Convention". Either way you look at it, this person has no legal protections and should be killed on sight.

Ya it takes courage to stab someone to death that has their hands tied behind their back. Type of person a pussy like you would idolize. And don’t try to act hard because you did a couple years in the reserves sitting at a desk. We all know a pencil neck like you would be useless in an actual combat scenario.

How many years did you serve?
Also, very nice of you to compare innocents being murdered during the Nazi regime, to cowardly combatants who use women and children as cover.
You can always join, go up the ranks, and change things for the better. I don't mind the execution of insurgents, in fact, I prefer it.
It truly does, better to kill them quickly, rather than let them go and have them continue to harm civilians that want nothing to do with their crusade. How many years did you serve? You don't get to have an opinion until you've had rounds fire in your direction. Let's thank god that soldiers aren't like you, because we'd all be speaking German if that were the case.Last edited by Godfrd824; 11-16-2019 at 06:46 AM.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

This. However, I’ve yet to read the words of some lefty where they weren’t exaggerating, leaving out information, or over reacting to some action Trump took.
We have to hold our service men and women to some standard of conduct. There will always be a few bad apples among them and we should do our best to root them out. But I’ll primarily leave it to experienced military personnel to say what is normal war time behavior and what is over the line.

So first you invade all kinds of countries in the middle east for personal gain. Then citizens of those countries strike back (inside of their own countries), you label them as terrorists and just flat out kill them outside of a fight, something you wouldn't actually do in a war (you might have heard of such a thing called war crimes). And then you label the killers as war heroes and pretend they are doing something good? That's some next level twisted thinking.
People who don't look through this kind of **** with US-coloured glasses might be inclined to call those navy seals terrorists. You know it's not bad to sometimes be critical of terrible **** your own country does, right? You would actually be more of a patriotic and standing up for what's good for your country. Now you're just acting like the typical redneck yankee the rest of the world ridicules.

You have a very Disney outlook of the entire thing. You clearly don't have the slightest inclination of what actually goes on in these warzones. I served and deployed several times. So I could absolutely care less what some filthy cancer from Netherlands thinks of me or how the U.S. conducts our military operations. Literally not even worth my time to explain it to you.

Four points...1 is that the boy was 15 years old. He could have been turned easily. At 15, nobody fuking knows what they are doing. The child was raised and taught to fight in the name of Islam. He was unarmed and taken prisoner. He was no longer a threat and mr murderer just wanted to test out his knife, as established in the texts.
2nd point is that we have rules of engagement. Even if we are dealing with the worst kind of enemy, if we sink to their level and become like them, we have already lost the war.
3rd point is that while this man served as a SEAL and that should give him some credibility, his many accusers were also SEALs, thus negating any special privilege this ought to give him.
4th point is that the circumstances of his "innocence" involved reasonable doubt due to someone confessing to the murder after being granted immunity.
Everyone knows he is guilty. The chance all these people made something up just
to get rid of him is pretty absurd given his text message and photo...He knows he is guilty. His squad knows he is guilty. His superiors and mates wanted him gone. He's been given his rank back, but nobody will ever trust him again. The next op he goes on, if he ever goes on one, he is going to die, guaranteed.
In Vietnam, murderers weren't brought to justice, so a lot of people would just quietly or not so quietly murder them during the war. I think if Mr Gallagher wants any hope for a peaceful life now, he should leave the military and go to therapy for a long LONG time because his fellow SEALs sure as chit cannot trust him anymore.
Also, the whole "You don't know the horrors of war" defense is bs. I have a friend who is a veteran marine. He has seen awful chit. He did not approve of Gallagher's actions. Also, the Pentagon and Gallagher's fellow SEALs did not approve either. These people have also all been to war. I think this is just a political stunt. The hatred for the enemy is so great that you want to signal muder is okay. This is after incredibly costly wars that never needed to happen.
Rather than admit that none of this needed to happen and that our country has completely lost its way, you will side with a murderer.Last edited by ronpaulusahero; 11-16-2019 at 08:00 AM.

Who exactly did you "serve"? Some weapon manufacturers, some oil companies, some corrupt US government officials? Because you're sure as hell not doing anything good for your own country over there.
You're basically a terrorist on government payroll and you think because of that you possess some kind of profound knowledge about what's going on in the middle east?
Does it make your feel good blindly defending war criminals even though you have absolutely no argument to make? Brb pardon brb you're a ******* brb you're a cancer. Do you have anything of substance to say?
