It's a nice jacket. I like it. And peacoats are never something that's really "IN". They will always look great in the winter, regardless of the current times.

The problem with wearing completely black is that it's not very versatile as black is a hard colour so can't wear much with it.
I would recommend a dark navy, dark grey or dark green (but the green is only really versatile in Autumn).

I think he was referring to wearing black shoes + navy pants. Many people say it gives off a boring look or security guard status. I do agree with the other poster that said the outfit would look even better paired with pair of walnut shoes/belt combo

Peacoats are never "out" bro. They're all the same mostly, pretty much just decide if you want epaulettes or not then find one that fits you well.

Dam that pic of red wings got me hnnnnging. I'm not sure if I want to drop $200+ on a fall boot though. They won't mesh well with the light/bright colored ocbds and shirts in the summer. They only seem to work with the dark colored fall shirts

Would recommend trying Barbour on before buying them. I went to their shop and the fit is terrible for lifters.
There is one fit that is better where you have a cord and button to tighten around the waist, but don't think they have that in the waxy appearance that you posted.
They do look good though and are good quality.

Also any UK brahs know if you can get discount Red Wing's? Also thinking of getting some. Would choose 1907's
