I'm just 19 but haven't seen any major growing in a couple years. Maybe only 2 inches in the last 3 years. Not sure if my growth plates are closed. Never done anything hormonal like cell tech so I guess there's a chance. I'd kill to be another inch taller.

Melatonin is a an amino acid derived hormone from tryptophan, it's in direct correlation with tyrosine-2 although tyrosine-2 derivatives are catecholamines which are dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine these hormones bind to adrenergic receptors via different tissues, Niacin is secreted in the anterior pituitary gland as a trophic hormone, It activates GHR, which GHR activates GH and GH is secreted and diffuses accross to the portal correlation to the capillaries.

However, taking in a foreign signal molecule via dietary means is not recommended if you are under the age of 18, as it will eventually destroy the adrenal cortex and your kidneys.

Where did you read this from? I know doctors tell teens with sleeping issues to get melatonin and 3mg isn't a very large dose.
