That's a good point. I found it elsewhere, didn't create this one myself...but I do recall reading what you said. Guy probably missed that part.

Tigers looked like a bunch of kittens. Zito is unbelievable. The guy has had such a roller coaster career. It's hard not to like the guy.

Zito's a prime example that anybody is worthy of redemption if they apply themselves with real effort. From 2010 when he was unceremoniously left off the post-season roster, to WS Game 1 starter last night is nearly unfathomable progress. Add to that, an RBI single off Verlander in the 4th as one of the worst-hitting pitchers in the game, it's got Hollywood Zero-to-Hero "feel good" movie written all over it.

Met a "Gertrude" today. She was 25 years old. I wager she despises her parents.

Wow. I didn't know Gertrude was still a name being used outside of those over 70 years old and just waiting for the name to fall out of circulation.

There's a teacher at my daughter's daycare who's name is Olga. She's probably 25 at the max. Gertrude should be happy her name isn't Olga.
