Theoretically some of that stuff or the right kool-aid jammer flavor could potentially help the glute.

You can't see soft tissue in an x-ray. And America wanted socialized health care... Doctors not even once.

i know X-ray doesn't show soft tissue, but again I'm almost certain its not a soft tissue problem. It would've healed long long time ago if it was soft tissue. i've been dealing with this pain since 2011 and it went away for a long time and it came back in 2013.

Finally weighed myself today for the first time in over a month and I'm knocking on 238lbs. I'm going to clean up my diet again and get back to under 220. Since i'm scaling back the training percentages for both bench and deadlift i see no reason to keep gaining weight, especially I'm still keeping the squats light. I was supposed to work up to 565 on deads tomorrow and 585 in 2 weeks but i don't really see a point in doing that since I'm not prepping for a meet. Plus i already hit a beltless PR like 3 weeks ago so i'm just going to start a new training cycle.
And for my diet i'll go zero carbs on non training days and on training days i'll only eat carbs after training. Pretty similar to what i did last year when i went from 260 to 218.

    Deadlift No Belt
    135x2x5
    225x2x3
    315x2x2
    405x2
    455x6x2
First day of new cycle. Haven't pulled anything above 405 for more than a single since 2012 lol. I've pretty much always trained my deadlifts using singles. Lower back gonna be sore as hell tomorrow.

    Bent rows
    4x10

    GHR
    4x12

    Ab pulldowns
    4x20

Great to go back to beltless deadlifts. i think i like deadlifting without a belt more now. I do pull a lot more with a belt but its more fun without one. Same as last cycle, I'm going to stay beltless for as long as i can.

High rep bench is easy..anything done on a bench is pretty easy lol. I mean you are basically lying down.

    Low bar squat
    barx10
    135x5
    225x3
    275x2
Felt awkward as fuuck so went back to high bar.

    High Bar Squat
    225x3
    275x2
    315x1
    335x1
    345x3x1 no pain yay.
225x3 paused. Whoops. Glute is still not ready for paused reps.

    T-bar rows
    4x12

    Leg press
    4x15

    Ab pulldown
    3x20

Pretty good squat day which is rare as fuuck nowadays. And i think i dont know how to squat low bar anymore. It felt really weird in the hole. Pretty much HAVE to squat atg now because i dont know how to cut depth with high bar.

Waaaaaay better than last week's 455. First 3 sets were great. Slowed down on last 3 sets. Still having a hard time doing more than a single. All my first reps were fast but 2nd reps were slow. Plus I treated every rep like a single i.e. i would stand back up after my first rep and reset which is definitely harder.

Had to deadlift with Jeremy Hamilton today. I think he worked up to deficit stiff legs 585x8 or something no belt. Definitely made me feel like a pussy. But after all this time i've gotten used to it. I had a great day though all the sets felt faster than last week. Thanksgiving long weekend coming up and we're going 12 hours up north again. Might try to get in a light bench day up there if i can.

No back off sets today cause glute was tight and hurting a bit. its probably from sitting in a car so much over the weekend. But it felt and looked faster than last week's singles so thats good. its all about winning the small battles nowadays.

The goal right now is to get back to at least a 405 high bar squat before Christmas. I never used to squat high bar before so technically every week I'm attempting a PR. I've been exclusively training high bar for about 4-5 weeks now but i'm still in the process of learning the movement. For example the bar position on my traps is still very inconsistent. And I'm still playing around with the descent speed. Either way i think I'm capable of a 405 high bar or more before Christmas, since its not something i've never squatted before.

Pretty good day. Bench felt crap until the last set. Same amount of reps but easier than last week. Had a lot more in the tank. Lower back kept cramping up cause guys at the gym were doing their last bench day before the meet next weekend so i was running around giving handoffs.
