    You called me fat!

To be fair to that guy, he looks okay. He's only 5'7" - some kickboxers I know are same weight and have athletic bodies. Let's not forget that Bruce Lee was only 5'7" and hovered near 135 lbs. His heaviest was 165 and he looked well bulky at that weight.

There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

To be fair, all that guy had to do was lift to look better.
My brother is that skinny ripped and he really doesn't look all that great shirtless. Yeah he's got abs but he looks like he will break any minute and is weak as fuc.

Serpent says he's 5'5". Won't say any more about his weight except with his attitude he better bulk cause he looks like he'd bruise easily when punched.

That guy for sure has issues but at least he got in shape.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

I bet we have close to the same amount of muscle mass.

That being said, he does look much better.

Thank you. I hope so too. I've had it for 8 months now. I get panicky when I see a lump in my neck the size of a large egg.

Thanks, stingray. Much appreciated. The swelling has gone down some, and I got an appointment with ENT on Monday. My doc thinks it's a stone that's gotten too big to pass on its own with just warm compresses and sour candies.

I would be inclined to agree with that. You normally dont have an overinflated ego and talk about how people dont work as hard as you etc normally. Every guy in my guy has that overconfidence mentality that are on gear, all of them, and its obvious they abuse the stuff. Also thinking your body makes you who you are (unless you are a real attractive model type) reeks of some sort of ego issue. Its hard to say because of the angle but the chest and delts especially are much much larger due to higher androgen receptor density.
Im leaner than that , skin is literally paper thin and you DONT get there through accident, and he doesnt seem to strike me as a person who counts calories or macros, none of that was mentioned. The only way you get there that way without that is cutting drugs.
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

NyQuil gives me some really jacked-up dreams.

Dreamt I had my dad's conversion van from 20yrs ago.
Started it up in a parking garage to warm it up but left it in drive for some reason.
    It drove off without me.
I couldn't find it anywhere & assumed it drove itself around the corner.
When I got around the corner I saw it ended in a T.
I ran to the T and looked left & saw the ocean and what could of been tail lights & the shadow of the Van just under a stormy sea.

It was then I realized I was on ferry.
Then I was wondering how I was going to tell my dad what happened to his Van.
Then I wondered where I was that I was even on a ferry.
Then I woke up and had to take a 5 min. pizz.

so maybe it wasn't the NyQuil.

He's adorable MLJ. My dogs are old and ornery now. They hardly ever like to cuddle anymore. I think I hug and scratch them a little too hard. It probably hurts. :/

This is probably one of the nicest things anyone has ever has ever done for me. I got a postal service ticket that someone had sent me something. I thought maybe I was being sued lol. It took me 5 days to get to the post office due to my ridiculous work schedule. Today I'm off work so I figured let's go see what the bad news is. I go and stand on line for 1 hour and finally get my package. It's from someone named Amber. I only know one person with that name but not even in real life, just on MFP in a group I created dedicated to Ice cream and gelatato. She's one of my moderators. How did she get my address? I open the box and I find.......cookies. The my better half tells me Amber contacted her to surprise me. I'm blown away. Also, the cookies are 10 days old and we just each at a White chocolate macadamia nut and a Brown butter chocolate chunk cookie and it was so soft and organic. The homemde caramel, ate 2 of them. Just amazing.

    I got:
    Toffee almond granola
    Homemade vanilla bean caramels
    Toffee shortbread cookies
    Brown butter chocolate chunk cookies
White chocolate snickerdoodle with Cinnamon (For Dora)
    White chocolate snickerdoodle without Cinnamon

Well Amber was really respectful of it. Dora knows of her because she's seen her post on my page and asked me quo she was. Dora also has seen all the foods we post in the ice cream group and I've shown her Amber's posts of the things she bakes. So when Dora got the PM she was totally cool with it. She knows we love sweets and stuff. She also addressed both of us on the Christmas card along with the Cinnamon cookies for her. She knows I hate cinnamon and Dora loves cinnamon. The flavors of things she sent me were things she knows I enjoy from seeing my posting history over the months.

as someone eloquently put it, "you can use this as a radiator for your volkswagen!" or something like that.

i used one in my build a while back. yes, it is massive. matter of fact, i can only use the middle fan. no room for the top fan in my case. still works great though.

Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.
