Am I the only one that prefers the old school Zeldas over BOTW? It doesn't even feel like a Zelda game, more like an Elder Scrolls game in the Zelda universe.

I enjoy both for what they are. Ones I didn't like much were Phantom Hourglass and Skyward Sword.

Joined switch crew couple months ago having fun with animal crossing, fire emblem three houses and smash. I normally play PlayStation and kind of miss having platinum trophies/ achievements for games for some reason

Hooked on BOTW. Was gonna go sleep at 11 yesterday and decided to give it a try and did not sleep until 6AM. right now im on 5 hours of sleep, gonna hit the gym and probably play BOTW all day. Currently on death mountain

EDIT: Just beat the Elephant titan or whatever. This game is legit.

This has this peaceful vibe to it, hours fly by with this game. This is a 10/10 game, i'm late to this party but fukk it, this game is fukin it m8 dead fkn srs das it mane

Endless fun. Played it twice. First time binged in a week. Then properly enjoyed it a year later - most of the shrines etc. So much fun.

The large variety of shrines differ and at the end reward you with stamina or hearts, I love it although it doesn't feel like zelda. Did you already play Age of Calamity? I read it's connected to BOTW

The shrines were fine. Keep the shrines but make 8 proper dungeons.

The 4 temples or whatever were just big shrines.

Still an epic game. Cant wait for skyward sword, think its the only zelda i never played. With they brough back wind waker

the concept of "small dungeons/challenges" to increase stamina/health is fine, but the overall look and feel of the shrines was not it mane (imo)

come to think about it I could've done without the stasis/cryonis/magnesis as well lol

would also like to see Wind Waker ported, and Ocarina and Majora coming to the Online Service

if this was possible on the WiiU I don't see why not on Switch

there are no "classic" dungeons in the game, there are 4 divine beasts of which the elephant is one

they kinda replace the dungeons from the OG Zelda's

Everyone loves OoT, but WW is my personal favorite. I went to every single island and got the treasure there. Wouldn't stop until I had that little red circle on ever square of my sea chart. Such an adventure.
