In on dry crew... Living in Japan just sealed the deal on humidity for me, never again. Hate being sticky and sweaty all day, wasn't the heat, just being soaked non stop.
In Vegas now and the sun is a SOB but it takes the moisture right off your body. I can drink a gallon of water, not pee once, and stay completely dry on the hot days when I stay outside.
Almost everyday at work we have people vacationing that are dehydrated because they aren't used to drinking so much water and they all say how fuking intense the sun is and how they hate it and how they'll take the humidity of the South any day over here...
I think the humidity debate can go both ways, just whatever you're used to.
And then we get the monsoons..... fuk that mess.... 110 degrees and 100% humidity... my angus isn't ready, it's coming soon#MAGA

Bloody nose crew. Only get them when I drink multiple days in a row though now. Used to get them randomly all the time.

Would definitely skip on the LCP. They feel like garbage and the 380 isn't what you want to trust your life on.
I carry an XDs in 45, but to be honest I wouldn't mind having a few extra rounds and going with something in 9mm. The whole allure of the XDs to me was that it was really the only thing around that offered 45 ACP in the slim profile. The 9mm XDs is the same width so there isn't much gain there, but you do get the extra 2 rounds per standard magazine. Shields are solid and many members in this crew will attest to that. If you aren't terrified of going with a double stack the glock 19 is always a great choice. I still haven't heard much on the G43 (single stack 9mm), but that would be something to look into as well if you can get ahold of one to try out. Definitely try shooting anything before you buy it. Go with something reputable and that you feel comfortable with.*MFC*

.380 has its place. I carry 9mm, 10mm, or .45 when I can conceal it but sometimes I need something tiny that will fit in a pocket, like when I'm wearing dress pants and a tailored dress shirt. Or sometimes you just want or need to be more discreet, when you know you can't print or be found out. At those times I carry a Beretta Pico with Trijicon night sights loaded with Underwood +P XTP 90g: 1200 fps and 288 ft lbs, which is more powerful than a lot of 9mm out there. I have no problem betting my life on that setup. And it's much smaller than the next smallest 9mm pistol. I also have some new Federal HST (Hydra Shok Two) 99g ammo for it but I'm not sure about its stopping power yet.

Sooooooooooo, I saw some old people having sex today. I am also a wizard.
I went out and rode at that place I posted last night with the snakes. It kinda sucked because part of the trail went through some sand that was impossible to pedal through, plus there were a chit ton of spider webs across the trail. The tail follows the water's edge for about a mile and a half or so before turning into the woods. Right near the water I saw a couple with a tarp set up like this:
I had my music on and it was kinda loud rolling over leaves so the saw me. They were sitting in chairs just chillin and looked back at me and waved. I continued on my way and rode around for an hour or before hitting my turn around point. On the way back I saw two snakes. The first one, I caught maybe half a foot of its tail before it darted into the bushes. Really dark, I'm guessing a black racer. The second one, as I'm sure you have guessed by now, was of the flesh variety. When I was maybe 5 minuted from where they were, I thought to myself, "I bet those people screw right there on the beach". Sure as chit, When I ride by, the chick is on her back and the dude is just pumping away. Really giving it to her. He looks up but doesn't stop and I wave and continue on riding.Last edited by CdtCox; 07-28-2015 at 01:43 PM.

What is humidity?
JK it rained last week and was damp for a day. Don't miss it one bit. 23 years living a mile off Lake Ontario, 85+ deg summers w/ 90% humidity, no thx.
There isn't enough gold bond foot powder in the world to prevent the stickage.
In gun news, bonus comes Friday. May swing by an LGS and see if the have a 930 or A300 in stock for a reasonable price. Bout time to add a shotgun to the "collection".---------------->MFC<---------------

Well, it being smaller is the point, and I don't think cost should be a primary factor in defending yourself. It's not like a .380 is meant to be shot a lot for fun at the range. It's strictly for concealed carry self-defense, and just as much range practice as necessary to be comfortable with it. I will say shooting that pea-sized Pico with 1200 fps Underwood +P is not fun. But it would get the job done in the vast majority of defensive shooting situations.

Good job on your first match...
Lol'ed at getting a procedural in the first video..
You look retarded doing that scan tactical **** in a competition ... I can understand doing it in a defense class/course .
moving your torso like that for the scan may get you DQ for breaking the 180...

Was riding the mountain bike on Round Mountain near Nevada City, heading down towards the Yuba River. Near the river, a blond chick, very attractive, was walking up the trail towards me. Nude and barefoot.
Another time I was backpacking into Desolation Wilderness from Glen Alpine Falls. I was alone. After a mile on the trail, I approached a waterfall with about a 12 foot drop. There were two attractive women standing underneath the falls bathing. Nude.

Also, a bear or really huge raccoon got into my trashcan last night. I need a rug for my apartment...
