Regarding that bar with loonz, there is one and I know a guy who works there every year for Mardi gras, forgot the name but can let you know asap. However that bar has doesn't always have it on tap and I'm sure everyone within a 500mi radius will know about it when it goes on.

Steins is a Jewish/Italian deli with a beer store in the back. I know the bar you speak of but can't recall it as well. Let me know when ya remember the name.

So manny's and all that sucks ass, but it does what it's supposed to. It's a crowd-pleasing beer for sports fans at sports bars, or college homers that know nothing of beer. Like a Mac n Jacks.
Having said that, Georgetown's Lucille has been improving quite a bit, and their Johnny Utah pale and Lovely Reida are fukking AMAZING.

pFriem is ok. The saison is pretty tits if you like that style, the IPA was super peppery/piney to me. Haven't tried the others, but bottles are seeing tons of distro now.

Yeah, the 3way collab with Boneyard and Block15 is gunna be tough to follow lol

hit up the smog city cuddlebug release today. their first sour. peaches and apricots. great stuff. the nose is amazing.. like super ripe peach skin still on the tree. bottles were much better than on tap. going back tomorrow for more bottles i think

Headed to Destin next month and making a day stop in New Orleans. I'm hitting up a beer store called Steins and they are reportedly to have Loons and 3F and Drie Font. in stock. Are they worth buying and busting my Loon cherry? What you *******s say?

They're struggling, man.
It's usually always dead when I've been in there, and one of the staff quit. They were looking to replace her, but I don't think they ever did because they couldn't afford to. Heard lots of talk that they really aren't making any money.

It does suck to see small businesses struggle like that, but sometimes it's their own doing. Like you said, terrible customer service there --- I've never heard anyone say anything positive about that place. And Craig, the owner, is notorious for being a dickhead that people don't like dealing with.
If they didn't hire more staff, and he's doing actual customer service, then... yeah... it won't be long until they go under.

I've also never seen any of them at beer events, or doing anything within the local beer community... which is weird too. You'd think they could use that marketing and getting to be known/respected in the industry

For anyone who gaveafawk when 3beans came out, Sixpernt is now officially releasing 4beans and he told me that they've been working on 5beans for a year or more. The numbers stand for the different beans going into the beer, like two coffee and a vanilla, etc.

It is a good beer fo sho. I'm sure Flesh is the only one who really hates on it.

Still has that shoddy BCBS flavor to it. Coffee is the best, maybe cherry rye. Vanilla is too sweet.
