lol
Charles V: Your eyes are too far apart. Nose is definitely crooked. The shape of your face is not aesthetically pleasing at all. You look like a 3/10 with make up in this photo. I don't even want to imagine what you look like without make up. I actually just threw up in my mouth, just thinking about it. Your head is too big (although that may be, because of your giraffe neck posture) . As for your hair, lol. Seriously, do something. You look like a horse. Stare at your face for more than 5 seconds, and you will see how ugly you are. The eyes which are too far apart is what ruins /damages an already ugly face even further. Unfortunately for you, that can't be surgically fixed, lol. You arms are way too long. lol at how they hang by your sides. Kind of reminds me of Copernicus. Don't even let me start on your pale complexion. It only works if you look hot. Unfortunately, you do not look hot. Its hard to sum up a creature like you in one word. 'UGLY ' would be unfair , since it doesn't reflect how repulsive you look. GROTESQUE is stretching it. But somewhere in between, is where you would be, on the scale of an average man. I'm sorry if my words seem a little harsh. Just so you know, I sugar coated this speech as much as possible.

Daily Psalm - Psalm 42
Psalm 42 New King James Version (NKJV)
BOOK TWO: Psalms 4272
Yearning for God in the Midst of Distresses
To the Chief Musician. A Contemplation[a] of the sons of Korah.
42 As the deer pants for the water brooks,
So pants my soul for You, O God.
2
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?[b]
3
My tears have been my food day and night,
While they continually say to me,
Where is your God?
4
When I remember these things,
I pour out my soul within me.
For I used to go with the multitude;
I went with them to the house of God,
With the voice of joy and praise,
With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast.
5
Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him
For the help of His countenance.[c]
6
O my God,[d] my soul is cast down within me;
Therefore I will remember You from the land of the Jordan,
And from the heights of Hermon,
From the Hill Mizar.
7
Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;
All Your waves and billows have gone over me.
8
The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
And in the night His song shall be with me
A prayer to the God of my life.
9
I will say to God my Rock,
Why have You forgotten me?
Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
10
As with a breaking of my bones,
My enemies reproach me,
While they say to me all day long,
Where is your God?
11
Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God.Pureblood

Daily Psalm - 43
Psalm 43New King James Version (NKJV)
Prayer to God in Time of Trouble
43 Vindicate me, O God,
And plead my cause against an ungodly nation;
Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!
2
For You are the God of my strength;
Why do You cast me off?
Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
3
Oh, send out Your light and Your truth!
Let them lead me;
Let them bring me to Your holy hill
And to Your tabernacle.
4
Then I will go to the altar of God,
To God my exceeding joy;
And on the harp I will praise You,
O God, my God.
5
Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God.Pureblood

Reading the psalms I sense a recurring theme in that mans heart is restless and can only find its home in God. We all have a desire which nothing natural can quench.

Truthfully, I wanted to respond to your post, but I didn't know what to say. Since it's hard to convey feeling over text, I didn't want to be what I wrote to be taken the wrong way since I'm not the most sensitive person and may write something that comes off wrong.
But, I'm truly sorry for your loss and hope you and your family are doing well.Pureblood

Gotcha.
I agree with you. I think we spend too much time debating philosophy and theology instead of posting about the Word of God. That's one of the reasons of what led me to start posting the daily psalms (that and we weren't getting much activity in the thread).
That's not to say, I don't think theology and philosophy shouldn't be discussed. I definitely think it's important and we should discuss it here, just that we need to balance it with the Word.Pureblood

What are your guys' thoughts on putative Christians that have the fish symbol on their car, but then drive erratically, speeding, and cutting people?
I'm already annoyed when people do that, just irritates me a bit more when an assumed to be Christian does it, as to me it gives Christians a bad name. I figure if you're going to advertise that you're a Christian, then you have the responsibility to be an example.Pureblood

Interesting. Do you hold the same standards for yourself. Let's apply your presupposition of "non-judgement" according to the post of yours below:
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...post1365010971
but I do agree that there is strong hypocrisy amongst some Christians. For instance, some Christian folk in this thread seek to ban gay marriage but yet at the same turn a blind eye to laws allowing divorce, prostitution, idolatry, pornography and other things denounced in the Scriptures. If one is gonna use the word of God as the reason to ban same sex marriage at least one should be consistent and also seek to ban everything that's considered a sin the Scriptures.
If divorce and remarriage is allowed in Ireland, I don't see a reason why homosexual marriage shouldn't be allowed also.
Further Christ, called us to be lamp to the world Mark 4 21-25
Parable of the Lamp
21 Then Jesus asked them, “Would anyone light a lamp and then put it under a basket or under a bed? Of course not! A lamp is placed on a stand, where its light will shine. 22 For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light. 23 Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.”
24 Then he added, “Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given[c]—and you will receive even more. 25 To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.”
But hey, you also think that gay marriage should be legal, so I already know that you don't hold too strongly to Scripture.Pureblood

Personally, I tend not to judge others since I'm far from God's idea of perfection.
MuscleXtreme: I find sinful Christians to be rather annoying!
God: I find MuscleXtreme to be very annoying!
Remember, for in the same way you judge others, you will be judged (Matthew 7:2).
PS. Are you leading by example? Are you perfect in all your ways? If not, then you should be the last person to get irritated when other Christians sin.Last edited by WarrNation; 07-14-2015 at 05:11 PM.

Can't remember seeing this? I'm sorry for your loss. I lost someone close to me only last year, so I definitely know what it is like (thought not someone as close as my father). IMO, suffering and loss are a time to reflect on your faith and your worldview. Suffering has been known to beget great wisdom.
I do believe though that there are times when you need apologetics, and other times when you need a good friend. This might be one of those times."When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser."

Ahh I knew that you would take Matthew 7:2 out of context.
If we're not to judge, then why does Paul tell us to correct other Christians if they're doing wrong? If you cannot judge, then you cannot correct. Paul in Galatians 6:1 and 2 Timothy 3:16 speak directly about correction, and even from Christ himself in Matthew 18:15-17 tells us about correction.
So tell me, if you say you don't judge others, then are you not then sinning? Since Scripture directly tells us that we need to offer correction to other Christians, so if you're not doing what Scripture tells you to (offering correction), then it seems to me that you're going against the Word, and therefore sinning.Pureblood
