My poverty dh just got 5 piece Marauders + RoRG. Should I focus on getting the helm so I can use TnT, which I have, or just randomly buy pieces so I can upgrade the majority of the junk i have?

you cant upgrade the key, you can still upgrade gem though. you keep going until boss comes

So, barb endgame is kinda painful. RG in GR32 takes 2+ minutes. Yawn.

Logged in tonight, did 2 T6 and a GR32 and logged out.

Starting to feel like Act 3 inferno where everyone was running idiotic avoidance builds (caltrops, arcane mines, weapon throw), etc. Except now it's only barbs.

Not sure what to do while waiting for a fix but I have no real desire to push Grifts; not feeling charge and /dance while pets/mirinae do work is kinda pathetic.

Maybe I'll make a seasonal barb, or hang out at GR30 where I can play a build I like, or just run T6 for better gear.

literally 100 shards couldn't beleive it. Cant beleive how good the dog is, went from doing hardly anything to doing 70+ mil crits

DH kind of boring now tbh. Had full mara in a couple of days(tried cindercoat build too for more fire dmg) but now running mara chest + T&T(86% fire dmg incr). Sentries attacking fast and doing 20-35 mil crits but seeing that jade docs are dotting 2,5 bil, crusaders critting 150 mil with heavens fury, wd dogs critting 250 mil per hit etc makes it feel like DH hits a hard wall at one point and theres nothing to go past it with.

went full potato and salvaged my Mara legs because I thought I was swapping in a better pair, my eyes didn't see it was shadow's coil legs ffs. TnT back in stash until legs drop again.

was wondering why my sentries were only doing 4-9m per hit, thought they got stealth nerfed or something before I realised LOL.

Got eye of peshkov on my clone spam monk tho, just need a flying dragon now.

Long story short yes. But top DHs only roll +cold dmg on bracers and, if lucky, on their Etrayu

A socket is required on amulets because of the legendary gems and most go trifecta or dex + 2 of cc/chd/ias. Dropping their elemental dmg here
TnT is favored over magefists, no ele dmg
Mara chest is favored over cindercoat, no ele dmg
As for the belt, WH is prefered, dropping another elemental dmg slot

Once you get a decent synergy through some lvl 25+ leg gems, SoJ, up to +45% sentry dmg, up to +30% CA dmg, CtW, Archery, Ballistics, TnT, SoJ, Etrayu you will melt through everything.

I'm doing fine, but missing TnT and Etrayu to be decent

Here's a few tips I seen on the forums.
!*use your stash.*!
1. Try not to play alone.
2. Have an "OH ****" button.
3. Use Diamonds for res all, Defensive skills and passives. Remember, HC is about not dieing.
4. If you are going to level up a gem to level 25, try to run a greater rift level 24 instead of going higher levels for same chances, level other gems if you got it to level 25.
6. Research about the gems you are going to use, it will save a lot of time.
7. Best rewarding activity in the game is rifts>bounties>greater rifts, do greater rifts only for leveling gems.
8. Don't rush ladder without being comfortable, the more time you spend doing rifts, the safer you will do higher greater rifts.
9. Instead of putting DMG buffs in your gear, keep the diamonds and increase the torment difficult.




- Don't keep a lot of (greater) rift keys/materials in your char inventory, split it from to time with your stash, so, if you die, you will be able to use them.
- Don't savage nice drops for other classes, if you die and you decide to try another class you should be able to use those items.
- Save a level reduced weapon, it is now possible to get back to 70 really fast even solo, or you can try to craft a level 70 one and get the level reduced req affix, which is really difficult.
- Don't keep a levelled gem on your character inventory, use your stash.
