@Sonny
Even if you do not beat it, $40 for that isn't half bad- looks delicious and it is a lot of food too.
Good luck though, I think you have a decent chance at taking it out.

@Erick: Man that pizza looks delicious! I feel like I would do much better in a pizza challenge, also considering it is one of my favorite foods! Congrats again man!!!
@sonny: My first burger challenge was 6 pounds total.. I can attest to what Erik said, although I'm by no means a professional haha!
(1) I messed up by eating too much of the bun first with the burger, so definitely go for the burger first then starches!
(2) I can't believe how much a soda helped me as well, didn't believe it would help that much but boy was I wrong
(3) Sauces!!! I asked for a SWEET BBQ sauce and it really helped when dipping the bun & fries in it (change of flavors & makes it go down easier)
(4) I find I fill up much quicker when pacing myself, therefore I recommend killing as much as you can immediately (just my personal opinion though)
Good luck and keep us posted with plenty of pictures, reviews, etc.!!I.C.E.D.

Month of Unlimited Macros (#4): Pizza Challenge, Bench PRs, and Girl Scout Cookies!
Tackled my first ever team food challenge with my buddy! We are HALF way through the month, enjoying it so far. Weight gain actually pretty minor for now, some large fluctuations.
Have another few challenges lined up in the following weeks, so stay tuned!

Not exactly a food challenge or competitive eating, but the South Korean "mukbang" phenomenon draws strong parallels with what we're doing here, i.e. watching other people eat like the sick perverts we are.

“Fuddruckers Fat Tuesday 4lb Burger/Fry Challenge!”
The Video
Coming soon!
The Location:
Fuddruckers, Mission Valley CA
The Challenge:
An entire 3lb burger (toppings not included), with 1 pound of sweet potato fries.
1 Hour to finish the challenge
.
The prize:
T shirt
Eternal Glory!
Final Thoughts:
BOOM!
Another eating challenge completed! I had tons of fun with this one. This was a very enjoyable challenge and was done at Fuddrucker srestaurant. I had one hour to eat a 3 pound burger (which was turkey) and also had to eat one pound of sweet potato fries. I met up with a friend from the boards organ Panthers a.k.a. Josh. Josh took on this challenge for your ago and finished at 34 minutes so he wanted to show up as last time and beat his time. This is my first time attending the challenge so I had no idea what to expect. Josh started out a little bit ahead of me, I ended up starting around two minutes I had of Josh. Unfortunately, The burgers were already made before we came in were a bit cold when brought out in the sweet tater fries were soggy. However, the burger was very delicious and moist. Before this challenge I hadn't had a turkey burger in years!
We both started off strong I'd swing about this like normal the challenge itself wasn't that substantial 4 pounds of food is it really that much in the grand scheme of things. Burger challenge is usually consist of a huge line with a huge Patty but surprisingly the Patty wasn't that huge. I was able to get the party down in the in only four or fiveminutes. After that I work the top on and had everything down and completed at around a 10 minute mark. Josh ended up DESTROYING his old time with a completed time of 15 minutes and 35 seconds!
I ended up finishing my burger at 14 minutes and 33 seconds! WHICH IS A NEW RECORD TIME! I put the fries down pretty quickly and was able to win the challenge and get my gift certificate for $25 (Josh gave me his so thanks josh!). This challenge really wasn't challenging at ALL, I actually wanted to do TWO! But didn't want to pay the 40$. I've always loved Fuddruckers in with her all the time as a kid, and I'll be back for more. The manager is actually really cool and told us all about the history of the challenge and told us that he talk to corporate about setting up a two burger challenge specifically for me when they do it next time Labor Day. I'll definitely be coming back the next time to do the challenge. I ended up getting my gift cards and buying more food to bring home! Gotta love cookies, brownies, rice crispy treats and cinnamon rolls... Right?!
STAY TUNED FOR THE NEXT CHALLENGE!
It was already waiting for me when I walked in... (Before I added toppings)
Starting off
Inside look
Challenge completed! (14 minutes and 33 seconds) (RECORD TIME)
