I think there's a 99.99% chance Trump lies if he's ever put under oath. I think there's 100% chance it's because he lies so much, with so much conviction, that he really honestly doesn't know which are lies and which are truth when it comes to the smaller things. He'd pass a lie detector he's so stone.

"Now playing on Fox News: Nothing about the $500,000 payments to Michael Cohen
Media Matters analysis shows Fox News has spent a total of about five minutes on the [Michael Cohen] story since the news broke. Topics garnering more attention: Therapy goats, Melania’s soaring ratings and a controversial high school cheer policy."Doc had but three redeeming traits. One was his courage; he was afraid of nothing on Earth. The second was the one commendable principal in his code of life, sterling loyalty to friends. The third was his affection for Wyatt Earp.

lol you two still dont get it. Make a FOX thread, then. They all suck, so trying the whataboutisms in here is pretty sad, it's a CNN thread.
Also lol @ calling fox/breitbart "alt right" just because it demonizes the entire right when in reality, the alt right are the .00001% (or whatever miniscule #) of KKK members and Neo-Nazi's. Nobody on the right condones their behavior so it's just childish to keep pushing that CNN talking point.USMC 0311

My recent post in this thread did not specifically concern the Stormy Daniels coverage. I am posting about the Cohen coverage...
The payments to Cohen are now beyond doubt, and have now been confirmed by a variety of news organizations, the Treasury dept. (now investigating the leaks of Cohen's financial statements), Cohen's lawyers, and the companies involved in sending money to Cohen (AT&T, Novartis, the Korean co., and Columbus Nova.
Let's review the facts:
The same shell company that Cohen, the personal attorney of the President of the United States and also former deputy finance chair of the RNC, set up to pay the pornstar Stormy Daniels hush money to keep her quiet during the election ALSO received $500,000 USD from a company connected to a Russian oligarch closely linked to Putin, an oligarch recently sanctioned by the U.S. government for interference in the 2016 US election...
You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to smell something fishy here.
As an example, Novartis paid Cohen $1 million dollars for his "services", about $100,000 a month. Novartis paid their actual lobbying firm $12,000 a month. That doesn't make any sense? Why are they overpaying Cohen 10x? The Korean company said they wanted Cohen's advice on accounting. Wtf? Cohen is not an accountant.
Maybe Mueller found nothing. Maybe further investigation will reveal it's nothing, but it's certainly worth investigation. And it's certainly worth news coverage. This is the personal attorney to the President. It's interesting. It's important.
Or...maybe... Fox News wants to portray Trump in the most flattering way possible?
How come CNN didn’t talk about Obama banging a dude in the white house for 8 years?
And these aren't crazy conspiracy theories. These are all things which we now know to be true. We know Trump had sex with a pornstar. We know Trump was blackmailed immediately before the election. We know Trump's lawyer paid the hush money. We know Trump lied about having sex with the pornstar, and we know Trump lied about payments to the pornstar.
I have absolutely no idea why some people on the far-right and other assorted members of the lunatic fringe believe the various Obama-related conspiracy theories they do. I think a big part of it is that many people who opposed Obama opposed him partly because he was half-African. I suppose the one-drop rule no longer applies, but in contemporary American culture many whites still perceive a half-African half-European citizen to be 100% NOT white, and for many whites living today -- and I've talked to them on this very forum -- being not white is a significant negative attribute. I suspect many critics of Obama spreading or believing this crazy propaganda simply could not tolerate that they had a black leader, leading their country, someone they were obligated to respect and someone to whom the American people would ordinarily afford all the dignities of office that previously only white people were afforded. That kind of things was just too much for some people, and that's why all the goofy Obama is a black-nationalist-muslim-communist-kenyan-foreigner-******* propaganda worked effectively,
There is no evidence Obama is gay, a Muslim, born in Kenya, had a fake birth certificate, or anything like that. Talk about fake news. Geesh. You guys make a thread to poke fun of CNN's dumb headlines and silly tickers...but on the other hand believe crazy conspiracy theories and obvious fake news. How can you believe such stupid things? It totally befuddles me that you just believe things like that at face value with no proof.
This is a great article discussing the psychology behind the propaganda of accusing Obama of being gay. It's worth a read:

Corruption does not make America great. Pay for play is a big deal. Part of the reason why HRC was not elected was the perception of corruption involving the foundation, and if Trump is perceived to be filling the swamp, instead of draining the swamp as he promised during his campaign this is a big deal and will likely impact his re-election. Trump is responsible for his own behavior, and the fact that HRC or anyone else did something doesn't excuse possible unethical or illegal behavior on the part of Trump or his associates. And this doesn't change even if you really, really, really like Trump. Trump and his associates are still obligated to follow the basic rules of our legal and political system.

I think they've surpassed. Ever since moving to NY, I've been at 2 gyms and both have had CNN and Fox News on 24/7. CNN takes the cake. Seeing the chit on a daily basis heading up to the election and now well after with Russia, stormy, Lawyers, etc. is absolutely mind boggling.

"Do you think SHE actually felt like that was a sexual thing he was doing? She's like 6. Only an actual p3do would think that she thought he was groping her, too."
"Not that it's impossible to touch a minor inappropriately, but it is true that a 6 year old girl will not recognize someone putting a hand on their chest as groping, whether it is inappropriate or not."
