Another fasted lift today (technically the new preworkout i picked up on sale, whcih is basically assault lol, has 70 cals(18g c) per serving).
5/1 - PULL!

Straight Bar Cable Curls
A few 5 rep sets moderately heavy, only real tough set was
95 x 5 to 70 x 5 to 50 burnout
Also did 1 set of upright rows on these as my friend was doin em, 50 x 10. Felt pretty good, nice and slow with a full squeeze.
God damn this was a solid workout. I've noticed I can pretty much just keep going without getting hungry if I lift fasted, and I'm not even really hungry for my post workout meal, sort of odd. So nice out today. Tired now so I'm gonna lie the **** down for a bit but I think I'll walk into town again and study later on. Did that yesterday, feltgoodman. Nice 20 minute walk or so each way, good iced coffee, nice environment. Man, I love Amherst. I don't want to leave at all. These feels...
In after dear diary

Dear diary,
Today I did some curls for the girls. Then I drank some lovely iced coffee and enjoyed the beautiful environment of Amherst. I love going for long walks here just so I can breathe the fresh air as I sip on my iced beverage

Hehe ty men =p
Lol would have definitely made you come on Bizarro. Maybe this summer why not? Get a lift in, six flags, maybe even crush a few vodka monster absolute zeros... Once you're back 100% of course. Soon.
5/5 - PULL!
Pendlay Rows
195 x 5 x 2
Then tried doing them resetting the weight onto a 45 bumper plate, felt sort of odd
195 x 6
195 x 8
T Bar Rows
4 plates x 8
4 plates + 25s x 6
5 plates x 5 - A bit too heavy honestly
4 plates + 25s x 6
4 plates + 25s x 5 to 3 plates + 25s x 10 drop set
Pulldowns
75 x 11
Don't remember backoff sets. Not very strong after this one though I remember that much, lol

DB Shrugs
115 x 12
115 x 10

95 x 6
85 x 6 to 65 x 6 to 45 x 6 drop set

40 x 7 seated
4-5 more sets total, some hammers, some twisting, some straight, etc.
DB Reverse Flies on Hyperextension Thing
15 x 15 x 2
And a few more db shrugs and laterals thrown in for good measure. Nothing too heavy with the laterals.
Weird day, woke up at 9 but went back to bed, woke up at 2 the second time lmao. After lifting I went into work at the caf at 7, was gonna leave at 9:30 but ended up staying till 2:30, was double pay after midnight. Caf's open til 2 for finals rather than 12. $$$ Anyway eating my last meal now, tracked everything and weighed almost everything today, lowest cal day I've had in a while I think hah.

5/6 - PUSH!
Bench
135 x 10

185 x 4
205 x 3
225 x 2 - Felt sorta weak but I'm fine with this.
185 x 10 - Possible PR? Not sure. Bench feels good!! First time benching in, idk, 6-7 weeks.
Decline Bench
135 x 12
185 x 8
205 x 6
225 x 5 - Notbad.jeg
195 x 13 - Rep PR
OHP
45 x 12
65 x 10
85 x 10
95 x 8
EZ Bar Skullcrushers
25 per side x 10
35 x 8
35 x 7
30 x 11
30 x 8 into 25 x 4
Machine Flies
3 sets in 12-15 rep range
Seated DB Shoulder Press
25 x 15
35 x 12 - Just messing around here for feel. Felt good.
Rope Pulldowns
3 sets, first 2 in 10-12 rep range, last being a drop set to failure ~20 reps
And 1 or 2 real light sets of db incline bench. Feels almost like I can actually do it, lol. Good feels. Only sets of decline that were actually difficult were the 225 for 5 and the 195 set. With bench the 225 double was tough. Besides that I took it easy and went higher rep. Solid session. Now to write the last 2 papers of my undergraduate career. Yeesh.Boston - UMass - Sales brah

Thanks brother! Feels weird but I guess I'm excited. Alumni status, lol.
I've got a surgery coming up on my groin (non-lifting related not getting into it), sorta sucks, won't be able to get a job doing any training for another 6 weeks or so... will give me time to finish preparing for the test though. So that's good, lol. Hopefully I'll be able to continue doing upper body lifting at least for the majority of the recovery.

Hitting some deadlifts with my buddy Brandon in a half hour or so. Never been to this gym, it's the ROTC gym at WPI in Worcester, pretty pumped. I don't like deadlifting at Anytime anyway, too commercial... not enough space for it, no bumpers, bertstares, etc. They do have chalk though. Hopefully this gym has some =p

^Know dat feel. The squat rack at the one I go to has these funny little pin looking things coming out of the sides of the bottom of the rack so you can't DL in the rack or else you hit them with every rep. But then anytime I deadlift outside the rack I always feel like everybody is staring at me b/c the place is so small and there's barely enough room to move around. haha

Hit deads but took a lot of time to do em, my buddy was doing an in and out chest workout, real low rest intervals and supersets and whatnot... so I'm gonna go to my gym later and do the rest of my leg ****, hah. Press/extensions/ham curls/calves coming later.

No chalk at the ROTC gym, also I was pulling on like... one of those mats people wrestle/do cheerleading on, lol. Weird as fuk, first time pulling off of a soft/squishy surface. Ah well. Decent session regardless, fun seeing my buddy. More later.Last edited by Anthonyxavcx; 05-14-2013 at 09:43 AM.
