Suffice it to say, face mane's aren't for everyone. Strong opinions ITT...
I have a pretty long beard and long hair pulled into a "man bun". Again, not for everyone but I pull it off nicely and its super easy to take care of. Just a little beard balm, pull the hair back with a touch of pomade and I'm done messing with my hair for the day. AND I go to the stylist every couple months for a touch up.
I can ask wifey to take a pic later. I don't do selfies...ooxxooXoXXx

the hair on my cheek line is thin. Should I keep it how it is, or lower it? If i lower it, the line will be below the crest of my mustache, I'm not sure if I'll like that.

I've been at it for 3 months now, but only now i noticed how fukking crappy my sides look compared to the front.
Check it out brahs, should i just keep going, hoping that it will fill out as it gets longer, or settle with a goatee for now?
And yeah, i used a flash, but you could say that daylight gives a more or less similar effect.

You're going to have to let it grow for quite some time without touching it. This means there will be a considerable amount of time where you'll look like a hobo. I should know i'm approaching that stage right now. But once you get to at least 2'' of growth then you go to an authentic barber with the image of the beard style you're going for.

Hey man. In grade school I was never allowed to have facial hair, but I knew I could grow it. Although I wasn't like some people and already have a huge 5:00 shadow in high school, I did have to shave starting when I was about 14 years old mainly for my mustache and chin. When I graduated I was playing baseball in college on a scholarship so I STILL wasn't allowed to have much facial hair although at that point I knew it was obvious I could grow a beard because it would come in full, but I would have to shave.
When I turned 24'ish is when I actually started to mess around and let it grow. It would come in pretty thick. Then I let it get BIG when I was 25. It would grow in thick, then as it got longer I got paranoid because it started to look wirey and not as full, then i let it grow for an entire year and it got HUGE and full and still wirey, so now I have it groomed and it looks less wirey, but full and thick. My hair on my head is very thick and coarse, so it's no different with my beard.~*\_Beard Brah_/*~
