We’re excited to announce that mod support is coming to PlayStation 4 for both Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4. Additionally, we’ll also be supporting the new PlayStation 4 Pro with both titles.

Skyrim will have these features when it launches on October 28. The new power of the PlayStation 4 Pro has allowed us to make Skyrim render in native 4k, and it looks better than ever. Here are some screens to show you just how great it looks.

Mod support will come to Skyrim first. We and Sony have worked hard to make this possible. Mods on PlayStation 4 will allow you to modify and create your own content by using our Creation Kit available here. You will not be able to upload external assets with your PlayStation 4 mods, but you will be able to use any assets that come with the game, as most mods do. By creating a Bethesda.net account, you’ll be able to browse and try mods right from within the game.

We are excited finally to get modding to our PlayStation fans who have supported us for so long. Modding has been an important part of our games for over 10 years, and we hope to do even more in the coming year for all our players, regardless of platform.

After the work is complete on Skyrim, we’ll be updating Fallout 4 for both mods and PS4 Pro. We expect Fallout 4 to take advantage of the PS4 Pro in 4k along with enhanced lighting and graphics features.

honestly, there aren't that many good vr games coming out at launch. the only ones i know of (or have already tried) are these:

eve valkyrie
eve gunjack (if this one's the same as the gear VR one then it probably won't be as good as valkyrie)
here they lie
keep talking and nobody explodes (great game to play with others)
vr worlds
RIGS
resident evil 7
rise of the tomb raider blood ties
until dawn rush of blood
star trek bridge crew
battlefront x-wing

but it seems like most of the launch games are only getting like 5/10 - 7/10 reviews.

seriously, I don't think I'll make it through once with these controls, let alone some of the horses*** you need to do for plat (beat the game using only your knife and swinging cod, or beat the game with invisible enemies)

Watching you going around in circles, running away from the zombie, then run towards it (due to the camera change) made for an entertaining time. All it needs is the Benny Hill theme song playing in the background.

try it out, my thoughts are that its a 14 year old remake version of a 20 year old game and the controls don't hold up. But its free, try it out and see if you like it.

bought mafia 3

played a couple hours so far. pretty fun but the game's crashed on me already

only thing i really hate atm tho is how weak the guns sound but at least the hit feedback is decent

i'm liking the way they tell the story and i have high hopes for it (im a huge fan of crime / mob movies like godfather, goodfellas, heat, etc. so anything related to that stuff is a must buy for me)

Sounds like a game to try out when I have nothing in my backlog. I don't like Platinum Games nor their games so I'm not expecting much from it.





I also finished Bioshock 1, survivor difficulty, with no vita chambers, got all the trophies except I missed an audio diary somewhere because I'm one trophy away from the Platinum ffffuuuuuuuuu ... Gonna have to replay it on easy mode soon and do a proper audio diary search with a guide this time so I can get my first ever plat!. I was playing so thoroughly too, saved every 5 minutes, searched every nook and cranny too.

^ PS4 Pro has a 1TB HD.... but I'd look and see what games you can delete. I find it odd that people can constantly be playing 500GB, let alone 1TB of games at a time. You can always re-download whatever you have deleted.

Just download some more ram.

Swapping out the hard drive is fairly simple.

However, if you either can't or don't want to spend the money on a larger hard drive, just go through your list of games and delete the ones you aren't playing anymore.

Yeah I still have a lot of games on my HDD which I haven't finished Killzone Shadow Fall/Journey Sleeping Dogs etc and I barely started lords of the fallen yesterday.. fuark I need to delete some of these games. GTA V takes a lot of space and so Does Battlefield 4. Guess I gotta go with more physical copies!

Battlefield 4 is the very first game I downloaded onto my PS4 and it's still there. lol

Games from discs get uploaded to your PS4's hard drive. Only difference is that it's quicker than downloading the digital version.

Uncharted trilogy (didn't like, so I didn't buy 4)
