Heya there fellow fitness freaks..... I was wondering If someone could post a proven chest and bicep sculpting workout? I've tried a few different routines, even one recommended from a co-worker who competes but I'm still not getting results I'm looking for. I'm sort of new to BB.com and even more so to the fine art of shredding, due to being trained for flat out power lifting in high school. Form pointers would be greatly appreciated as well.
Thanks ahead of time
Good luck in the competition everyone

The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible...
Which way does a tree fall? It falls the way it leans...... be careful which way you lean.

Well I have confirmed my old scale has been lying to me! For a while now it has been posting my weight as around 203 to 205 avg. We had bought a new scale but we thought it was wrong and wanted to take it back. We lost the receipt and “they” wanted to give us the new discounted price, so we kept it. We gave the new scale another chance. Come to find out after double checking the new one is more accurate and close to real weight. Got dressed for work ,weighed myself with old & new scale. Then at work used a calibrated scale and found out the new scale is about 1 lb off from the work scale.
That bites since it shows over a 10lbs difference on the plus side.
I’ll be using the new one for the comp.
Guess I have more work to do!!

Iv had scale issues too in the past. I had one scale that had some kind of memory built in, which remembered your previous weight so when you stepped on it, it always said the same, anyhoo i guess it malfunction and my slow weight gain didn't measure on it, no matter how tight my clothes got it still told me I was 152lbs. It wasn't until I looked on reviews on amazon that I realized the scale had the memory thing and loads of reviewers were having the same issue with it not giving accurate readings. As far as I know it's the stupidest thing in the world to have a scale remember your weight. By the time I bought a new scale I was also 10lbs heavier but at least I knew.
Goals: lose 20lbs
Squat: 200lbs
deadlift: 250lbs
pull-ups: unassisted 10

Thanks for that!!! I hope they waive the continental US requirement. Restoraid waived it for me. Sometimes, though, it's the price you pay for living in paradise.
I got a 20 minute pool swim in. I don't like pool swimming. I MUCH prefer the ocean. I worked on breathing on my left side. I'm sure it was quite commical since I am a TOTAL left side breather. But I will conquer and prevail! Taking a breath every three strokes is just so much more efficient that breathing every two strokes (and I can't go four strokes! I need that breath!). Hubby is working late, so I'm hoping to lift some weights later. I have caught the kids' cold, so we'll see if I need sleep more than I need to lift.Kristin "Never mind your failures today...get back on that horse and RIDE!"

That's a very good point, thanks for bringing it up. Don't think patience will be an issue for me, after cutting for almost a year I'll be glad as long as I don't see too much fat there, so a plateau when gaining probably won't trigger my OH GOD NEED TO CHANGE CALORIES alarm like a fat loss plateau does :P
I suppose my fat person mentality DOES come in handy sometimesthough it's something I also want to change, quite sure it's not very healthy to keep thinking like that when reality proves me wrong. Guess we all have our skeletons huh? :P

Man am I excited for this!!! My goal is to get that lean and streamlined physique that you see on the outside packages of underwear ads. I want to see exactly what my abs look like again, it's been 4 years since college when I was at my fittest. I want to get back to that and go beyond that. 16 weeks is plenty of time

With adversity comes pride
Think of how much prouder you'll be when you DO succeed having such an environment around you. And it might actually be a good thing in order to achieve true self control, that way you won't feel in the middle of a jungle when you inevitably find yourself around temptation
best of luck!
