Training with DOMS, I'm still sore from my deads the other day, so this is moderate stuff, RAW, for my chit talkers, you guys better get to work, it's gonna be sad that a sloth who only trains 2 hours a week out does you!!!! You know who you are.
Overhead press 154 x 2 (I did 3 on the next set, but not filmed, I think I do better not being filmed)-
squat 275 x 6 not very good.
very short rest 290 x 6, little better, I got better with each rep.

PR Elevated Dead Lift 435 x 2, look at the height, it's not that much higher.
While I'm sure PP can do this, I don't think Pockets can, but whatever, its the journey, you guys have woke a giant, and 2 reps is just a start, I felt good for 3.

Yesterday had to solo my bench workout as my buddies were busy - in the empty vs full gym discussion, I know I really enjoy working out with 1-2 likeminded folks!
Instead, my son spotted me (but didn't work out).
I did my warmup, then 3x3 at what I thought was 275. Felt heavier than I expected, and my left was really sticky/weak... my last set actually went pretty well as I adjusted and I pushed through..... then as we're unloading the bar my son sheepishly says he left a 5kg plate on the left! So it was actually 285 with an imbalance for 3 triples... I guess I feel good about that
Also hit 20 pullups which I've been wanting to try but I've been keeping reps lower. Felt good to hit that 20 mark even if my form suffered a bit at the end.

Great job. As a fellow lifter that did 20 BW pullups at 50 I would start thinking about your elbows, once they start acting up it affects a lot of your other lifts. I usually do these kind of stunt lifts just before a break, a few days of rest after that and you'll be fine, if you do arms the next day you're gonna be in trouble.

Thursday did Deads and went a little heavy, which was fine but I didn't have my belt and it was the heaviest I've done conventional. Did three triples at 457, went to sumo for my last set.

Was a little unprepared and late when I got to my buddy's house last night to lift - he wanted to do a mini-mock meet so I ended up putting up three heavy singles in under an hour - no PRs but felt good to put some weight on the bar!

Geez, ID and BH you both look great! You guys are both too hard on yourselves. I'm not anywhere near shirtless pics right now. I have started a conditioning phase (my word for diet). I started 2 weeks ago and already feeling better and down about 8#. Did deadlifts again today and I was able to tighten my belt to the 2nd row of holes, so I know I'm making some progress.
I felt extremely strong today despite the calorie deficit. I did 90 minutes slow cardio on the treadmill (4mph at 8% incline), then did some strength testing on OHP. I managed 185# before I failed at 190#. Then moved to deadlift. I ramped up the same as usual, but skipped from 405 to 515 and the 515 was surprisingly easy. I decided to push the envelope and go for a current PR which is still 35# below my all-time best of 610#. I tried to do a 10 second static hold after lockout. Felt good.
