I can only imagine the faces of the people who bet on shogun lol. They prolly thought they were gonna win some MONEY only to get completely shot down.
"Gettin Beasty" - it can be used as a noun, verb, adverb, and an adjective. but does anyone truly know the meaning of Beasty? the real definition was lost years ago in translation but it has been said by multiple scholars that it is a way of releasing the inner demons of ones self on someone or something.

Haven't watched alot of Pride.... but been a huge fan of Rampage ever since he I heard he was coming to the UFC. I like the cocky fighters, all though most people don't seem to take to them like me. Seeing this video, though, gives me a new found respect for Rampage... still one of my fav Light heavyweights cause he will always bring it. Pretty sure Rampage saw the Machida Shogun fight... or he will watch it once he hears what happened. Wonder what kinda joke he would crack 'bout that fight.

just watched the fight:
Round 1: Shogun 10-9 (by significant strikes) - close round
Round 2: Shogun 10-9 (by significant strikes) - close round
Round 3: Even????? Shogun landed more significant strikes, Lyoto appeared to be controlling somewhat. The judges probably saw the end of the round as Machida winning even though Shogun I think landed the more significant strike of that exchange. I personally would give it to Shogun 10-9, but I guess I could see a Machida 10-9 round.
Round 4: Shogun 10-9 - one of the clearest rounds of the fight
Round 5: Shogun 10-9

I just rewatched the fight on DVR and ignored Joe Rogan the whole time.
I see it as Machida taking rounds 1, 2 & 3. Thus winning the decision.
Machida took a lot of damange in rounds 4 & 5, but not enough to get it scored a 10-8.Jesus/Gators/ManUtd/Investing
